Because I Said So!!! Mom Knows Best!

Have you guys met Boo? She is my 3rd and Favorite
Child. She seldom gets in trouble, never talks back,
I never have to worry about where she is at for she
is always right behind me, doesn't get into my things
or spill things on my carpet or furniture and she offers
unconditional love and affection and never holds a grudge
when I yell at her. She is also 12 pounds, around a foot and
a half tall, covered in fur and eats from a bowl on the
floor. Other people would refer to her as a Jack Russel
Terrier but I just refer to her as Baby Boo.

We have had her for just about 4 years now
and frankly I could not imagine life without her. She is
just drop dead adorable and always happy to see me. She
give kisses like nobodies get out and other then a few chewing
spree's here and there over the coarse of her life she doesn't
have any flaws. Other then her smell. Oh my, is it stinky.
I also in no way want to know why. This is the pooch that
kisses me on a very regular basis and licks Rowan every single
chance she gets, so there is no need to gross me out
any further then her smell does on its own with the
source of why it smells that way in the first place. The only
thing I want to know is how to make it smell better. I
talked to a few people who manufacture pet products and
the next place I did a review for saved my nose and
quiet frankly Boo and I's close knit relationship all together.
Pepper and Tanky make a perfume just for the Pooch
that kills that Oder and leaves her fresh and smelling great.
No longer do I have to squirm away when she stands on
my chest at bed time and fills my face with good night
kisses. I don't have to hurt her little puppy feelings by
shoving her off before she is done because I can't hold my
breath any longer and it makes sitting near her anywhere
all the more enjoyable for I can't tell you how many times
she has laid next to me on the couch on a hot summer
day panting away for me to only crinkle my nose at
the smell that comes from her, even more so when it is
hot and muggy. I know she rolls in things and with
shaggy fur those odors tend to linger and ferment. We often
give her baths to lose the smell but baths are one of those
cure that the fix is often as bad as the problem in the
first place. Really, what is worse, the smell of a dog that
has been rolling in something or the smell of a wet dog?
If you ask me it is a toss up!

I tried baby powder before but that is a powder
and not only do you have to wrestle the pooch to the
ground to put in on her all she has to do is shake to get
it off. I have even eyed my own perfume collection and
though, hummmmmmm, but at 60 bucks a bottle I would
rather over spray on me and just cross my fingers that
her odor doesn't linger through. Pepper and Tanky takes
the ewe out of Boo and leaves her smelling like whatever
version of their sprays I use and all of them smell much
better then Boo Ala Natural. Pepper and Tanky comes in
four flavors right now and I got a chance to try them all.
There is Peaches and Cream, Big Dawg, Vanilla Woof and
Puppy Love and all of them smell great, so great in fact
that, awe, never mind, they are hers! Being a huge fan of
vanilla I have used almost all of that spray already for let's
face it, Boo stinks. Once that one is gone she will be
sporting Peaches in Cream or the Puppy Love for I
just love those scents too! I wanted to try the Big Dwag but
when they came a friend of mine was here and smelled it
first and ran out the door. I have to take it at face value that
if she made such a mad dash to get it to her house it has
to be good. I hope she knows it is for her dog and not
a body spray for her for as great as these smell it really
is that hard to tell. Pepper and Tanky just isn't for the
pampered pooch it is for anyone that needs a little
something something to make their pups odor a little
more people friendly for lets face it, we spend a heck of
a lot of time with out little four legged friends and as much
as they offer us, a little something for them isn't a bad thing!
I have to say I love the convenience of the fact it
is easy to use and apply and unlike fancy smancy shampoo's
I don't have to fight with her to put it on. Just a Squirt Squirt
and Boo smells like a whole new dog and one I love to cuddle
with too boot. Now I find myself looking for excuses to
snuggle with her instead of excuses to push her farther away.
Pepper and Tanky made me realize how sweet she really is!
