Flower Arranging Video Review and Giveaway
Green thumb, black thumb or all thumbs. everyone loves
fresh cut flowers. Just the smell alone is enough to remind
you of that perfect summer day and chase away the winter
blues. For eons men have used flowers to drag their butts
out of the doghouse, they are used as centerpieces for
just about any occasion and not only add a touch of
elegance to any room they brighten up even the dingy-est spot!
You can get them at any florists or even at some grocery
stores and there is always the old stand by of the side of
the freeway flowers but all those places share one flaw.
They cost!
And sometimes they cost a lot. Even freeway flowers have
went up from $5.00 dollars to $10.00 and those die the minute
you bring them home. Flowers from a Flower shop can cost an
arm and a leg for something as simple as a few dozen Daisey's.
I love flowers and how happy the make you feel ( isn't it just so
funny that flowers can make even the most repressed woman
giggle with glee?) and would have them all over if only I had
my own personal ATM at home with a never ending balance.
My Grandmother had the Greenest thumb out there and could
make the most beautiful arrangements out of a Petunia and
a pebble if she had to and I remember watching her for hours
as she came up with the perfect arrangements over and over
again. She had a whole wall of baskets and pots and materials
in the basement and it was just a natural talent to her. I on
the other hand could disgrace a single bud vase and a long
stem rose would try to drowned itself in desperation to get
away. I have tried. I thought I was crafty but every time I try
it is not only missing that special Ump it looks like I handed
Rowan the keys to the flower pot and let her drive away.
The saddest part is even at 6 months of age Rowan could still
do a better job them me.
I truly thought all hope was lost until I stumbled
onto the cute little video that makes the art of Flower
arranging ( and it is an art) come to life for me and I finally
saw the light. I could even let that light shine on my arrangements
without fear of total humiliation. It is such an easy to follow
video and in no time I had a beautiful European Wrap Style
Bouquet. Flower Arranging. Create a Gorgeous Bouquet the
Flower Duet Way is only 30 minutes long but when you are done
your own arrangements will look like you hired a pro. Just start
with 20-30 stems and watch your own inner artist emerge.
The video includes tips from Florists and even lets
you in on secretes to pick the freshest flowers to prolong
the life of your Bouquets. You will learn how to make
styles perfect for One of a kind Bridal Bouquets, hand tied
Posies and Centerpieces even my Grandmother would have
drooled over. This is the first in a series of many more to
come and if you only want to use this one for a few tips
and desire to be a pro anyone can benefit from this video and
everyone can follow the super simple instructions. I plan on
makings some special ones for Valentines Day but I have not
yet decided if I am going to let my friends think I paid an
arm and a leg or take the credit for my Glamorous designs!
Either way I know they are going to be super impressed.
I can't wait until summer and my Mother infamous Garden is
in bloom so I can sneak out there with some pruning sheers
and create some spectacular arrangements. I could be really
sneaky and give her one and tell her I was inspired by her
garden and had to buy some to brighten up the inside of her
home. Unless she counts her buds she will never know! Might
be a Mothers Day on the cheap for me if they are ready in time!
Flower Arranging Create a Gorgeous Bouquet truly
has what it takes to help even a hopeless novice like me
look like a pro! If you are lucky enough to live by these ladies
they even offer classes and personal instruction and you can
either do in their studio or they will come to you.
I watched this video over and over again and like a book
I learned all I can learn from it so I would love to offer the
review copy to you guys! To win it just go to their web site

My friend and I were recently discussing about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.
