100 Top Finger Foods
A great Cook Book to add to any Kitchen with Kids!
1/4 cup Heavy Cream
3 Tablespoons Milk
2 or 3 Drops of Vanilla Extract
1 Thick Slice of White Bread ( bakery bread, unsliced)
1/2 Tablespoon Butter
1 Tablespoon Sugar
2 Banana's cut into thick slices on the bias ( angle)
Suger to sprinkle
Mix together the cream, milk, eggs and vanilla. Cut the
bread into triangles or sticks and put into small flat dish.
our the mixture on top and let stand 5 minutes.
Turn halfway through to make sure fully coated
Heat up pat of butter in a frying pan and allow to melt.
Put the bread in the pan and fry gently over low heat for
about 5 minutes on each side, to golden brown.
Fry the Bananas: Melt the butter in a small frying pan.
Add the sugar. Add the bananas and fry gently until caramelized.
Let the Bananas cool slightly before serving, as Caramelized
sugar can get very hot. Serve the french toast with the Bananas
and sprinkle with a little sugar.
