Reading Glasses Shopper Review and Contest!
Okay, I am going to come clean. Age is catching
up with me at an alarming rate. Things are being grabbed
by Gravity, I can no longer pass off wrinkles as laugh
lines and my Grey hair count has become so daunting it
is just more easy to count the ones that are not Grey.
My eye site is also failing. Not super bad, I just find myself
squinting here and there and after a while of heavy reading
the words start to blur and I need a little help.
I even went to the eye doctor and he said I am not
quiet there yet for full time help but he can give me some
reading glasses for the low price of $149.00. I thought
about it, then I thought about how many pair of sunglasses
I went through and decided to wait for a sale. It wasn't that I
couldn't see the words I just had to squint a little because
suddenly there were just too small. Do book publisher
give eye doctors a kick back to justify that much money
for a pair of reading glasses I would only wear a few times a week?
Blah, I will just read less.
But then what happens when I get into a really good book?
A few weeks ago I was at CVS and as I was waiting for
a prescription I was fingering the reading glasses on the
rack there. Now these are more my price. I can justify
spending 20-30 dollars on a pair of glasses.I mean really,
I can loose 6 or 7 pair for what the doctor wanted to charge
me. The problem with these glasses is they didn't have any
that I would be caught dead in. I would say these were my
Grandmothers glasses but the truth is even she would not
wear these. Yuck. I went home and decided that if they
sold them at that store there has to be other stores that
sell them that are more my speed. I got on the net and
started the research. And I was right. There are a lot of
places that sell the glasses I would like but again I hit
the price wall. I will not spend more then 30 bucks
on something my kids will end up crushing or I will
lose. After a long tedious search and moments before
I was ready to throw in the towel I found Reading Glasses
Shopper. Instead of the 50 or 100 different selections I
had at the store I now had my choice of hundreds
of glasses to browse though. No lie either, I counted! They
also have every style you can think of and have glasses for
every taste. My taste, yours, my mothers and even my
Grandmothers.
Reading Glasses Shopper makes it a snap for you to find
your style too with an easy to navigate web site that has
everything broken down into sub category's starting with
the main division of men and women's. From there they
go on to Bi-focal, full frame, half frame and even sunglasses.
Sunglasses? Why I can use those and nobody will even
know I need a little help and they have styles that feed even
my picky pallet! Reading Glasses Shopper even has those
glasses you can fold up and tuck just about anywhere.
I know found a place that has my style problem taken
care of but what about the price?
Let me just say one thing here, under 20 bucks!
From what I saw on the site the average price of the glasses
is under $15.00 and I saw some as low as 6 bucks. Now for
that price I can get over 20 for the price that eye guy I am now
positive was only trying to get me to fund his next vacation. Just
about every color, hue or design you can think of these people
beat you to it. So price and selection, CHECK! So far
this place is a dream so I asked to review a pair and my vanity
had to go with the sunglasses. I got a super cute pair with a
giraffe print on them that I would be proud to wear any where
I go. But when I placed the order I really didn't know how
bad my eyes were or what strength I would need. I didn't even
know what strengths they came in or if they came in strengths
at all? Reading glasses are just not something you pay
attention to until you need them. Well lucky for me they had me
covered again and have them broken down into category's for that
as well. They start at 1x power and go all the way up to 4x power.
I was only starting to have problems so I thought I would play
it safe and grab a 2x. I wasn't worried at all about getting
the wrong kind for before I picked them I read over some
of the details on the site and found out they offer a 100%
satisfaction guarantee and hassle free returns. If I did make
a "Boo Boo," and "Boo Boo," is my middle name I could
just return them. No hassel there.
So how did I do on my check list? Let's see here;
1. a huge selection
2. Affordable
3. glasses for every differant power
4. I can return them if I don't like them.
What else could there be? I am know, shipping! Reading Glasses
Shopper offers free shipping on any order over $30.00 and let
me tell you they were fast! I thought my Netflicks came with
lightning fast delivery but these guys passed them right on
by. I barely hung up the phone and they were here. Alright,
maybe I am stretching that a little but they were super fast!
My finial desision on my review for Reading Glasses Shopper
is I have seen the light, and clearly! Really, they were great.
You can't ask for better customer service and the selection
kept me busy for hours visualizing what outfits I could pair
with what glasses! The only thing they could do better is
to give you a pair, and they are!
Reading Glasses Shopper is going to give on of my
lucky readers a $20.00 gift certificate to their store so
you can get a pair, or two of your own! To Enter just head on
over to their site and come back here and post what style
you would pick. You can borrow mine if you are having
a hard time seeing them all! The contest will start today,
December 20th and run to Midnight on January 26th.
USA and 18 and older can enter daily and the winner
will be contacted by email and have 72 hours to
contact me with their mailing information. As always
