Complaint of the week and Complement of the week
Complaint of the week.................
This weeks complaint is phone calls
where the ID is blocked or unavailable. Even if
I were being hounded by bill collectors would I answer
that call? NO WAY! I am not hounded by bill collectors
and I still won't answer those calls. Who would?
I wonder every time I see that why somebody would
block out the number. If they didn't block it chances
are I wouldn't recognize it and answer it but once I see
ID unavailable I go right to ignore. ID not available smacks
of sales call to me. Who do they think they are fooling?
What makes it worse is every month I get more and more
of those. I get almost as many of those calls as I do rich
relatives that live in far off lands and want to give my
zillions of dollars but can only notify me by email
and I have to pay a sur-charge of 5,000 first. What
are they trying to sell me that is so important and how
many times does the same place have to call before
they realize I am not going to answer? You would think
they get a clue and you would also think those
email guys would come up with a better plan too!
I really want to buy an air horn and let um have
it one day but with my luck it will turn out to be a
Lawyer with a wrong number and there goes my
life savings of $1.98.
Complement of the week....................
Company's that don't send junk mail!
My mail man hates me, I just know it. How can
he not? Everyday I get three to four tons of useless
sales papers and junk. Now I have signed up for
email notifications at all the places I shop on a
normal basis so why do they still send me a hard copy
to my mail box? Why double dip? I get the point already,
you are having a sale and want me to know. I wonder
how many miles of Rain forest have been disappeared
forever due to sales circulars? I love stores like Hot
Topic and Sears for I never get anything from them.
Please, the rest of you, follow suit and let me
read from my in box not my mail box!
Kudoos to those who don't send junk mail!
