Nourish Review and Contest!
Nourish!
When Andrew was a Baby I had two choices for
baby bottles! Plastic or those baggies. That was
it. No fancy tilted bottles, no air vents, no new
line technology or advancements. Plastic or
Baggies. At the time I didn't know any
better for that is all there was. Of coarse 16
years ago a lot of things were different. No way
could you serve your child cold or room temperature
formula. Forget washing Bottles with an anti-
bacterial soap or putting them in the dishwasher
and do not think for one second you can store the
left over formula in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Everything I just listed was a huge No, NO and would merit
you a 4 hour lecture from your Mother in Law.
In fact, today, if you break one of those sacred rules in
public and anyone over the age of 55 sees you,
your going to hear it too! Rowan is only 6 months
old and I can't count the amount of times I have
been scolded by sweet little Grandmotherly
types for letting her stand. She is going to be
bowlegged don't ya know!
Now when Rowan was born I was dumbstruck.
Literally. I stood in the isle at Babies R US and felt
my mouth hit the floor. There must have been close
to a 100 different types of bottles. Each one with bright
screaming announcement proclaiming that they are the
one for me! As I went up the isle to check out them all
and found the price tags went up too. WOW, Who has a
wallet fat enough to drop 20 bucks on a bottle because
the neck tilts! Do you know how many bottles we have
lost around here already? I should say the bottles John
and I have lost since we can't pass that buck onto a baby
who has yet to stand up and walk out of the room. They
have straps to prop them up, labels to let you know
if the contents are too hot, ones that play music and
ones that offer fancy designs and others that proclaim
they are old school and glass is not in the past. Ones
that come complete with a nanny and a lullaby band.............Okay,
so I am reaching here but you get the point. What I want to
know is why don't they have ones that come with the water
in them so you can just toss them in your purse and when
Junior is fuss-in for dinner you can just add some formula
and go? You know, sealed little babies where you don't have to
keep changing the water and just leave them in the
diaper bag and not worry about a thing? Ones that you
know are safe and you don't have to worry about the water
quality or that the bottle is dirty and Junior will get sick?
How about a product that was made right here in the
good old U.S.A? What, you mean they do?
Meet Nourish. A brand new way to feed your baby or
give your toddler something to drink. One that is long overdue.
What they do is take some of the best spring water this
planet has to offer and bottle it in a safe BPA free bottle
that is compact without losing its volume and sealing it
so it is always fresh. What you do is toss it in your bag
along with some single serve packs of your babies formula
and go. No fuss, no muss and nothing to worry about.
The formula is always fresh, the water is never stale
and as long as you know it is in your bag you don't have
to worry about packing anything else. Well, Diapers
ya know for what goes in.........................a lot at my
house!
When Nourish asked if I would like to do the review I
was Gung Ho Away we GO! This was a review that affected
me a lot for I cringe every single time John leaves the houses
with the baby. Did I pack enough? Are the lids on tight?
Will he lose another 20 dollar bottle? How long will he really
be gone for those bottles are only good so long. I tried just packing
empty bottles with the formula packs but think, if a man can
not find the Milk that has always been on the same spot on
the top shelf for the last 5 year, what are the odds he will find
water in a strange place? Yeah, that's what I thought.
I loved the fact these were sealed so I knew they were fresh, I
really loved the fact the water was right there already and sent
John and Rowan off confidant even he couldn't screw this one
up. I didn't care if they were gone all day. I knew I had them
covered!
RING RING..................
"Hello?"
"Yeah, a, Michelle, Where did you put that formula pack at?"
"In the zipper pocket John, the only zipper Pocket in the
bag and they are the only thing in there!"
" Yeah, ah, where is that pocket again?"
"On the outside of the bag. There are two sides, one with a
pocket, one with out.""
"What side?"
CLICK.................................
Okay, not all of you guys deal with what I have to deal with but
the point is for normal folks Nourish works like a charm!
Now I am borderline Hoarder and can't throw a thing away
and choose to save the bottles but you don't have to.Once you
are done you can just toss them in recycling bin. What's my tag
line here, No fuss, no muss! They also have the bottles that come
with the sippy cup attachment so it is just as cool for Juniors
older brother or sister as it is Junior. Now my Nephews would
never be caught drinking straight water so how about picking up
some of those single serve Crystal Light packages or Koolaid.
Problem solved and still, No Fuss, No Muss! How cool! I love it
and give it a big old TWO NO FUSS NO MUSS Thumbs up!
Nourish knows that some of you have Husbands almost as
bad as John and sometimes even us super Moms need a break and
wants to give one of my readers of gift pack with their products!

I learned that the Nourish Baby bottle comes with a wider opening so you can add formula. It also has room in the bottle for mixing it up.
