isABelt Review and Giveaway!

I know I often complain about Jeans today.
They ride your Hips, don't cover your booty,
especially one as ample as mine and are always
tight in one place and too baggy in another. The
booty things is what drives me the most mad
though for I feel like my pants are always going
to fall down. Even dress pants are starting to
follow this trend and I feel like I am going out
of my mind. Step, step, step, Pull Up Pants,
step, step, Again With The Pants, Step, PANTS,
Step, step, Pull up (SCREAM) Pants! All day
long. My other problem is I mostly wear pants
and since I am wearing a 6 not a 4 after Rowan
most of my pants are new and therefore that
particular style since it is all I can find. So
as it stands I have a closet full of pants that
feel like they are going to fall off and every time
I walk more then 5 feet I look like an escapee of
a mental ward without his medication. Now a
belt does help me feel like my pants will stay
up or at least ease my mind for mentally I know
they are re-enforced and therefore less likely
to fall off, but who has the money to buy a
belt to match every pair of pants they own. Now
I know I could just buy a couple of belts and
make it match all the pants I own or even
just suck it up and deal with it for the odds of
my pants really falling down are just my imagination
and if these low ridding jeans really did have
the possibility to fall right off somewhere, someone,
would of had it happen and it would be all over
the news or TV or maybe some America's funniest
home videos. Or I could order an isABelt.
Since trying it for review I decided the last
option would be my best. The first thing I noticed
with isABelt was the inventor of them had pretty
close to the same issues as I did. Low Rise Jeans.
Unlike me she did something about it and thus isABelt
was created and now the rest of us can enjoy the fruits
of her labor. Thank goodness too for I am sick to death
of the tugging and a couple of days before the belt came
I actually broke a belt loop trying to get them over my
hips. Her belts are perfect for preventing slippage and
they are not the least bit bulky and also does away with
that loop of extra material you have when sitting down
or squatting where people can look right down your pants
and you might even have been approached about a job in
the Plumbing field. Better yet, nobody will even know you
have it on unless you are showing it off. Of coarse with me,
I have to show off everything to anyone who will stand still
for more then 30 seconds. I loved the belt I was sent and
for the first time since this crazy fad happened I have been
able to wear a pair of Jeans without constantly yanking on them.
Another thing I loved was I gave Andrew one for he has the
other fashion fad that needed to be put out of its misery when
it first hit the shelves. Those baggy jeans that are meant to
show the boys boxers. Now Andrew doesn't start out trying to
get pants like that but the problem is with his size the pants
that large are pretty much all like that. I have tried to get him
a smaller waist size and he ends up popping the button before
he has owned them for a week. isABelt allows him to keep them
up where they belong and not constantly slipping down. I can
almost forgive the person who invented the Low Rise Jeans for
now that I have the belt I no longer worry about them hitting
my ankles but the person who made those Jeans for the boys
just had a plain old twisted sense of humor. I don't know how
many times I have been at the store or walking the dog to the
park and saw a group of boys and it is almost second nature
for them to tug their pants up every few minutes. Like a round
robin but instead of the next person up singing the next person
up is yanking on their pants. How can teenagers think that is
cool? Unfortunately for my son he was drug into the craze with
Mom kicking and screaming. The cold hard truth of the matter
is if you want them to be long enough you are stuck with a
waist like that. I have bought him belt after belt but with his
belts style is not the issue, one that will last and is easy to
put on or take off is, for the Leather ones I bought him
snag and catch on the loops and are such a hassle my ever
so lazy teenager will just skip it all together. Yeah, yeah, that
has started more then one heated discussion at my house. My
point is he will spend less time threading the belt then he will
pulling up his Jeans and his is if he didn't have to be at school
so early he would not be so rushed. Teenage logic, you just
have to love it! isABelt is made from a smooth elastic and
glides through the loops and is a snap to put on. He has no
problem wearing the belt everyday for it meets his requirements
of 30 seconds or less and out the door. He is also a huge fan
of people not knowing it is even there for teen fashions are way
more complected then an adults and there is no way for me
to keep up with their fads and this way it doesn't matter what
the styles are it will go with them all.
I loved the belt for it is adjustable. Since having Rowan I
have been struggling to lose the last 15 pounds and this struggle
has turned into a mini yo yo weight loss and weight gain. Since
one belt is made to fit multiple sizes it is perfect for me. I also
realized while wearing, it also helped to have a belt be able to
expand and retract when you deal with that monthly bloat. With a
normal belt there is no give and little forgiveness and every month
for a couple of days my previous belts felt snug and uncomfortable
and sometimes just don't fit at all. No more! I am also happy that
belt comes in black also, for though I love the fact I can wear a
clear and not have to worry about it clashing with my outfit most
of my clothes are black to begin with and with the black belt I
can tuck in my shirt and the belt looks fantastic with its slim
and really fashionable design. For me that is a great selling point.
isABelt solved a ton of issues of mine and saved me the hassle
of cleaning up the bonfire I was going to set to burn all those
dang low rise Jeans.

isABelt doesn't just stop helping people keep their pants up
when they are wearing ones with belt loops. The owner and
designer also understood that even loop-less pants have issues
and created a tape that you can use with the belt that is
double sided to help keep the belt snug and secure and just where
you want it. I love wearing a belt over a long shirt but the problem
there is my odd shaped torso allows for a lot of slippage and
the isAStrips makes for the perfect solution to hold a belt. It is
two sided tape made just for your clothing that keeps that belt
in place. They also carry the itsABoottopper that helps you keep
those old or outdated boots a little bit longer. Don't dump them,
give them a new life with a topper. Think of it as Jewelry for
your boot and it comes in three style, the feather, beads and
gems. Perfect for a little lift to a dieing shoe! The isABelt itself
comes in your choice of styles with the wide, the Jr, the original
and the Breast Cancer Awareness Salute. Love all the gadgets
that isABelt has and just can decide, well they also have a
fashion fix it toolkit that has the whole lock, stock and smoking
hot fashions when you use their gear! The kit comes complete
with their whole product line in a handy dandy tool box that
tells your hubby you are now running with the big dogs, as
a bonus you are also getting a $35.00 dollar savings when
you order the whole menu like that! isABelt is perfect to
turn those fashions don'ts into fashion do's and revamp your
wardrobe all at the same time. I gotta say, I am thinking of
knocken that tool box John never used off his shelf and getting
me a brand new one from isABelt! That will teach him!
isABelt is also holding up the pants of one of my readers
for they are going to give one reader an Original isABelt in
their choice of the clear or of the black. To enter just head
over to the site and take a look around then come back here
and post what you need most! The contest will start tonight
and run to Midnight on April 22nd.

Blush Topless Undershirt Review and Giveaway!

Skinny Jeans? I just don't get them. I swear
they just don't fit right on me and the really hard
part is no matter where I shop they are the only
thing I can find anymore. At least I think they are
called Skinny Jeans. I am so lost when it comes
to Jeans at all anymore. What happened to plain
old 501's or run of the mill Blue Jeans? I have found
it completely imposable to just walk into a store and
find anything that comes over my hips. I understand
fashion. It is always moving and changing and people
need to keep up. When I say that I mean retailers not
the buyers for buyers should wear what they are comfortable
in and that is my problem right now. I am not comfortable
in these Jeans that have been out the last few years.
I feel like the dang things are always going to fall off and
I don't know who thinks they look good for the fact you have
to pull them up every ten minutes takes away any visual
appeal they have in my book. Whatever and to each his own
and if these are the next best thing since sliced bread so be
it I can live with that. At least I can live with that when it is
other people that are wearing them. What I can't live with, is unlike
other trends these low rise jeans are all you are able to find anymore.
Now that is just stupid!
I get it! They are hot! You win! But please, leave some normal
clothes on the racks for the rest of us. This is ridiculous. My
choices are dark Denim in Low Rise or light Denim in Low rise.
?????

Who makes theses rule? Get them on the phone now! When I
was a teen CK and Gloria Vanderbilt were it. Every girl I knew
wanted a pair or 30. They were everywhere. What they didn't do
though was take my Grandmothers Polyester pants or my Mothers
Elastic waist Jeans and replace them with CK or Gloria's version.
You could still find other clothes out there. With this stupid low
versions you cant. They have taken every kind of pant in the world
and lopped off the top 6 inches and told us that is what we must
wear now. Um, sorry, I don't think my Grandmother would have looked
good with her Granny Panties Hanging out and I sure know I don't.
You need a perfect body to wear those things and lets face it, most
of the women in this country do not have that body. That's why I
want to know what rocket scientists came up with this trend. Let's
take the fattest country in the world and remove the part of their pants
that covers up their love handles and Belly's and Booty cracks! Yeah,
that is appealing. What are they trying to shame us into eating better?
Come on now, we should be finding ways to get more clothes on some
of these people not less! Good thing my next review agrees with me
and thank God in Heaven I found them for I was getting ready to
sew my own clothes and that is a truly scary thought!

The ladies over at Blush had a problem with clothes
fitting as well. Not always my problem but with lack of material
in general. The shirts were never long enough or the pants
high enough. It doesn't matter what way we are going, up or
down, the fact remains is we are loosing material out there.
Those fashion people are just determined to have us show our
bellies if we want to or not. Now you guys don't want to see
my belly, small children have gotten lost in my belly. With both
of my Children I gained and lost over 100 pounds in a years time
so any elasticity I had went out the door with the baby bath water.
I am surprised when I wear a swim suit a small van of clowns
doesn't pull up and cover me with their Circus Tent just to spare
the rest of the world the vision. I know I am not alone for I have
seen with my own two eyes many women less modest then I
who have no problem letting it all hang out. I just wouldn't and
excuse the pun, be able to stomach that. I need every inch
under wraps so to speak. Blush came up with a way to do just
that. Their Topless Undershirt is the perfect solution to those
low jeans I hate and those shirts that don't come down as far
as I need either. Think of it as a Tube Top you wear around the
middle. It is thin and perfect for use with a T-shirt or other
items where you do not want to wear two shirts but still need
the extra coverage. The Blush Topless Undershirt also gives you
the look of layering without the added bulk. Even Pregnant women
can benefit from the shirt and it allows them to wear some of
their favorite clothes longer by providing coverage on those growing
bellies. These ladies are my new best friends for they took my
pet peeve and made it go bye bye in a great no fuss way.
I can still wear my form fitting clothes because the undershirt
it so light weight you never even know you have it on. Best of
all it stays where you put it and doesn't travel. I don't have to
worry about it slipping or re-adjusting and I spend much more time
pulling my pants up then ever worrying where my Undershirt is!
I know where that puppy is, just where I left it!
The Blush Topless Undershirt passed the Michelle
test with flying colors and no matter how much I yanked, pulled,
poked and over washed it did not lose its shape and kept
bouncing back for more. Now you guys should know by now
when I test a clothing item I wash it at least 4 dozen times
for I want to be able to tell you guys an item is going to last
and mean it. I washed this in every load for 2 weeks now and
it still has the same bounce back and fits just as snug and the
color has not faded at all. That is really saying something about
the quality. The also have a lot of color selections and even some
pretty cool patterns, so you are bound to find one that fits your
style. I love the simple brown one I got and can't wait to
get a lacy one for my dressy clothes for those never fit my
right either and I am tired of seeing some of my favorite styles
sitting in the closet unused and now I can drag them out, dust
them off and kick up my heels again! No matter what your style
or issue, Blush has you covered!
Blush has my readers covered too and have offered to give one
lucky reader a shirt of their own. To enter just head over to their
site and take a look around and come back here and post something
awesome you have learned in a comment. The contest will start
tonight and run to Midnight on April 14th.

Kutie Kadoo Review and Giveaway!

I have decided Rowan is a Doll! A living,
breathing Doll! now I know every Mom thinks that
about their Baby but hey, it's my Baby and I will
brag if I want to! I had fun when Andrew was little,
I made a point out of dressing him all sharp and
adorable and no matter how hard I had to look
for style trends back then for boys that were
not plain old BLAH! I would search. I had some
baby flannels with muscle man arm onesies for him
that were really cute and received a lot of
complements but it is just so hard to find boy
anything for they only have about a tenth of the
selection girls have. Everything for girls is cute
and precious, you would be hard pressed to find anything
ugly, though I am sure it is going to happen. Andrew
had Rowan's full face smile going for him and those
big round cheeks so it didn't matter what he wore he
was still cute. In fact, when Andrew was about 9 months
old, what do they con you into at the picture place
that first year? 3, 6, 9 and 12 month to have them
taken? Anyway, the 9 month shot turned out so good the
photo place said they would pick up the tab for it if
I let them hang it in their studio. Hey, even then
photos were hundreds of dollars so I was in. But Andrew
was a boy and I could not "Add" things to him other
then a baseball hat. With Rowan I have options! Lots
and lots of options. She can wear Bows, barrettes, hats,
streamers, ribbons, flowers, Head bands and more. Even
with clothing you have more options. Girls can wear
any item a boy can and they still have girly items
too! I had visions of Rowan wearing a new frilly
outfit every day with matching shoes and hair items
and all the perks. Then I saw the price tag on
little girl items and went, hey, maybe one or two
in each category. That stuff is E-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e!
At least anything cute. You can find those not so
cute items at a pretty good price.
I needed to find items that were the cutest of
cute I could afford. What I could not afford was
hats that cost 34.99 per hat or Hair bows that
cost 12.99 for a hair bow. Are these people out
of their minds? Now Rowan was also born bald so
I didn't look right off the bat but in the last
two months she has sprouted tufts of hair that
are crying out for a bow. Now was the time to
start my hair and hat shopping for little baby,
baby. My Doll!  In my search I ran across a site
called Kutie Kadoo and I just had to share with you
guys. I stumbled on them looking for Tutus but
it was the Hats and Bows I fell in love with. Now
the Tutus are adorable and I do want one, or five,
but that hats!

SIGH

They are just too much. Classic designs brought
to the modern world and they make a little lady
out of even the most tomboyish of a little girl.
I was reminded of the 20's and flappers and that
eloquent style of feisty modern vigor that we have
forgotten as we fell into the carbon cutout fold over
the last couple of decades. Even the 70's had more
fashion statements then we have had in the last 20
years and Kutie Kadoo said, "no way, we need some
life back in a children's wardrobe. AND they added
it. Bright vibrant colors on Classic Crochet hats
that take a little smile a baby wears and turns it
into a delicious grin! I was sent a couple of hats and
hair clips for review and even a Tutu and each one
was a delight and I felt like we had just walked into
Glam Shots and put my Angel on parade. The owner
was incredible and she told me she was sorry she
did not have more to offer in terms of a selection
and my Jaw about hit the ground. "What is she talking
about!" her selection is fabulous, everything is sweet
and dainty except for the pieces that are purposefully
bold and then they are BOLD!  Right when I was talking
about doing the review she was remodeling the store and
had yet to put everything up but if you want my opinion
it is better to have a few items that are fantastic then
a whole truck load of everyday. Lucky for us she must
have been running a fever for she has a lot of items
and each and every one is fantastic. I think she is
just very humble for I could not stop screaming about
this place! The review items not only looked like a
slice of heaven they were made with a perfectionists
touch for every thread, every weave, every inch of
the hat was pure Quality and Rowan loved it too, in
fact so much i could not get it away from her. I was getting
ready to cry for I thought for sure she would ruin it
and made loads of efforts to get it away. I even offered
Ice Cream and all she did was shove the hat under her arm,
accept the Ice Cream then fight with me for the bowl then
to add insult to my tears, went right back and tried to
put the hat on her head again with sticky hands. I was
so worried the Ice Cream Baby Gunk would not come out
and set it aside for hand washing and my helpful son
saw it and tossed it in with his load. He came later
to inform me how helpful he was and I about broke my
seat to run and stop the washer to only get there to
hear the final spin, spin, spin.................Stop.
I was afraid to open it. I went to bed and didn't even
look. For sure it was ruined, this is a crochet hat,
how could it not? Andrew took this as a sign to keep
going and tossed it in the dryer. THAT, I didn't know
to later, but the next morning it was sitting on the
table still looking like a peach! How lucky for me and
what a shout out for the hat that something so delicate
looking can stand up to my son! Just like the little
girl wearing it, the hat is going to be a fighter!
Even the bows were still crisp and sassy!
Her hair bows are just as stunning and so crispy
that they will hold up to any style. Rowan looks like
a little Pixie in hers and now she has learned to bounce
and tries to dance with music on and her, the bows, the
music and the dancing is enough to make me break a stitch
laughing so hard for there should be a law against that
much cuteness! The Korkers are a must have but I also
love the Crib shoes and I have got to get some if it
kills me, they remind me of a Hollywood movie star for
years past walking through her house in her fuzzy slippers
and in the clips, the skulls are there. You guys know
how I love that contradiction of sweet little girl and
little devil and collect skull items for Rowan. I am
nuts about Katie Kadoo and will be spending a lot of
time there so stop on by and join me.
Katie Kadoo sent and extra hat and Korker for one of
my readers. To enter just head over to the site and take
a look around them come back here and post what you liked
best in a comment. This is one of those places where I
would be posting all day! The Prize is one of their darling
hats and a Korker! The Contest will start tonight and end on

Girl Gotch Review and Giveaway!

I have been paying a whole lot of attention
to Rowans Fashions. Her dresses, her accessory's,
he hats and her Jewelry even. It doesn't matter if
it is for everyday, special occasion or dress-up
and pretend. I thought I hit it all too someone asked
my what kind of Panties is she wearing.

"Panties? Why none, Diapers."

Your going to need them soon and you already
have clothes lined up for her when she is out
of Diapers, how come no panties?"

Good question. How come? I can't believe
I hadn't thought of that. Oh, now I know why I
forgot, when I was a child we had two choices.
Cotton Briefs with God Awful Floral Designs or
Under Roo's my Grandparents would never let me
wear. I must have done a mental block for the
shopping of young girls undies has got to be
the worst thing about shopping and here I get
excited when I am buying new Dixie cups. I
just can't get over the lack of imagination when
it comes to their undies and I don't understand
that if they can make little 3 year olds dress
up like a Diva in outfits that would make me
blush why can't they mature the kids undies
just a little bit. I felt like I was obligated to
just look a little bit and when I was asking around
someone mentioned a site to me and told me
to check it out for I wouldn't be sorry.
Yeah, right!

Welcome to the world of Girl Gotch! Let
me tell you, it is about time. Let us take
adorable to a whole new level. They took
boring old yucky kids undies and made them
cute but giving them a taste of adult style.
Better even yet they were respectful enough
to not turn those little girl undies into a
Frederic's of Hollywood in mini style design
for if I see one more 5 year old looking like
a 30 year old Pop Star with a libido to
match I might scream. Girl Gotch took your
plain old simple Men's Mighty Whities and
Shrunk them, added some color and made
them all about cute. Just like the big girls
did a few years ago, the guys undies look
better on us gals as panties. She also took
the boxers and spun those around into a
fashion statement that made me grin. These
are flat out adorable and also functional
for we all know the guys undies are more
comfy then the girls. In fact I used to
wear men's myself before they started
making the Girl Boxers for us when I
was at home for just like with the Girl
Gotch they were comfy and didn't ride up
and just offered better coverage and support.
The briefs even feature a one inch wide
waste band and leg openings that are
super covered elastic so they don't pinch
either. Financially that's better too for you
don't have to worry about the elastic
popping out like the cheaply maid cotton
panties you get in a huge pack. The Boxers
also offer a wide covered waist band and
fit so much better and are perfect for under
skirts and dresses for girls don't always
remember that they have a skirt or dress on
when they are outside playing and having
fun. "Oops, I've shown my underwear again!"
It happened to me more then once. ah, hem,
and no I am not talking about last week, it was
at least a month ago. Jezzzzzzzz you guys!

Girl Gotch also comes packaged in
the most adorable little containers that
are really a sturdy little box that I really
thought would be perfect for Rowans little
Nick knacks and Crayons. They even have
a see through lid and I know she didn't package
them that way for Mom's like me to get double
duty from but when Andrew was little I used the
Diaper wipes boxes for these things and the Girl
Gotch containers are so much nicer. Plus they
are girly and plus I love the little window on
them. It is just such a lovely perk you can't
help but to think of a million uses for them.
So let's see here, you get panties your
little princess needs, plus a box you
can use for other things for it is also
as adorable as all get out and all from
Girl Gotch, a perfect store to start her
style out right!

Girl Gotch also wants to dress your
little darling in the hottest undie fashions.
They are giving one of my readers a chance
to win their choice of the boxers or the Briefs
of their own. To enter just head over to the site
and take a look around then come back here
and post what you have learned in a comment.
The contest will start tonight and run to Midnight
on March 28th.
USA and Canada and 18 and older can enter daily
and the winner will be contacted by email and have

Babymel Review for the American Heart Association

Babymel of London has got to be one of my all time
favorite Brands of diaper bags. Stylish and Sleek they
offer a selection of products that are made for the busy
parent and take care of such small details such as wipe
clean lining and multi functional storage pockets. There
is also their new stroller strap that allows you to not
only use it as a shoulder bag but you can attach it
to your stroller to allow for more freedom and flexibility.
I was sent the Amanda Quilted in Pink for review to
highlight a campaign they were participating in for
heart health and awareness. A cause I am very familiar
with and much in support of.
The Amanda Quilted is "the" best Diaper bag I have
ever run across. Don't ask me why I need them but
I have about 15 different diaper bags right now to
go with different outfits and they pretty much just
sit around collecting dust for I grab the Amanda every
time. Well, I do now, I used to grab my Amanda Printed
for that was the last bag I bought before Rowan was
born and my all time favorite (TO I saw the PINK) bag
and I wish I had found that before I had dropped a
small fortune on other brands. The Babymel Amanda's
come with two insulated Zipped Bottle Pockets so
you don't have to worry about rushing to find a
refrigerator and you can pre-make your bottles
before you leave the house. Such a perk for I hate
having to either pack ice packs in bags or do a mix
when you are out for it is a pain in the butt and you
still need to find good water. They also come with
large outer pockets and a HUGE inner pocket so
big you could almost fit baby in themselves! ( Um,
kids, that is a joke, please do not try to put you
younger brother or sister in a diaper bag!) The lining
is wipe free and even yucky cookie paste comes out
with the flick of a wrist and the outside is just as
easy to maintain. They also come with a changing Matt
that fits perfectly and I love how you do not have to
struggle struggle with the darn thing to get it into
the bag when you are not using it. Most other brands
that offer a Baby Matt construct one that you need to
be an Origami expert to fold and unfold AND let's not
forget the new stroller strap. Perfection!

They come in several different styles and what
would be the key word here? Style! Most bags lack
it and is the number one reason I love the Babymel
so much, in fact I love the Pink Quilted so much
I was thinking of using my Old Amanda as my Diaper
bag and the Pink Quilted as a purse for it is me
in every way possible. They also carry many other
versions such as the Zipper that is reminiscent of
a Hobo bag but lets face it, a Hobo Bag is not
practical for Kids but Babymel fixed that and it
is not only practical it is multi functional and
the sassy zipper in the front unzips to reveal a
changing Matt! There is also the Babymel 2 that
is made for parents of twins of more then one in
diapers at a time. It is two super chic bags that
can be used separate or hooked together to make
a Parent of more then ones life a little more easy
for hey, we all know they need a break. One is
enough for me but Babymel knows that sometimes one
is not enough for everyone. Don't forget Dad, Babymel
didn't with their Tool bag created with him in mind.
Dad won't wince when you hand him a girly bag for this
is anything but. All the great features Babymel is known
for tossed into a bag that comes in a solid Blue or
Red or even a Camouflage for the Manly Man! New
styles are also the name of the game and Babymel just
released the Sammie and a Change Station. See, those
people are always thinking and thinking of things that
are great! Since I discovered Babymel the only thing
I touch my other bags for is to change the size of
Diapers I have in them ready to go. I really don't know
why I even bother for the only bag I leave the house
with is my Amanda. These guys have also thought of
it all and for quick trips when you do not want to
cart around a huge bag they have the tool pouch, just as
fantastic as the big bags but in a smaller size. The
only down side to Babymel is someday Rowan will be out
of diapers and I will no longer have a reason to carry
one. I might even push the Grandchild envelope with
Andrew just so I can keep one around!

Babymel is also a big supporter of Heart Health
and is currently offering their Pink Amanda Quilted as
a way to raise awareness. Right now they will donate 20%
of February Sales From Pink Quilted Amanda style to the
American Heart Association. My Mother has had a Heart
attack in the recent past and my Grandfather was plagued
with heart problems and had several attacks that ended
with a triple bypass open heart operation. Heart Health
is a very important subject to me because of these and
it is obvious heart problems run in our family. No
pun intended but I keep the issue close to my heart and
it is a cause I stand behind and will help any way I can.
The Quilted Pink Amanda Babymel would make a delicious
Valentines Day Present for Mom and you can feel good
knowing that you are also helping to fund research,
education and support to help eradicate heart issues
in our future. Babymel knows that to cure our problems
you need to start with our children and what better
way to represent that then purchasing a Diaper bag
that will help erase heart disease in their future.
My final review for Babymel is that they offer super hot
and stylish bags for Mom and Dad and also have a noteworthy
cause that makes buying the bag for that reason alone a great
investment. Babymel is the Baby for me!

Posh Little Tutus Review and Giveaway!

Fashion, fashion, fashion and Style. I am hooked
and love to buy it, shop for it, browse and gawk and
dress up every chance I get. I am just as excited to
have Rowan look all Haute and dress her in the most
adorable fashions I can find and if you know me you
know that this is one of my all time favorite subjects to
talk about and I could ramble for hours. When I find
something that excites me you guys are the first to
know and I love to share. When I find something
really great and super stylish and unique I just about
climb up on my roof and scream about it for the whole
world to see. Well, I came down from the roof today
for two reasons, one it was cold and two I had to
tell you guys about this review I just did!
Posh Little Tutu's has some of the most adorable
clothing I have ever seen for a child. OH-MY-GAWDDDD
is it cute. Rowan was sent a Tu Tutu for review and some hair
pieces to match that were drop dead, hands darn, so adorable
I had to call everyone I knew and tell them they had better
get over fast and see this! I have some pictures for you
for that little Jelly Bean is determined to be a star and
such a little button in her get up. She received the Pinkalicious
Two Toned Valentines Day Red and Pink and when they
say Pinkalicious they mean it for Delicious and Pink are
about the only ways to describe it. I was giggling like
a school girl as I took it out of the box and so was my
Pooch for Boo knew this one was too big for her to wear
and she was safe! The Tutu was such fun and so full
and there was so much material it made her look like a
Prima Ballerina. I just can't get over how much material
they used for it added too the charm so much more to see
such a full skirt! The waist was stretchy so Rowan can grow
with it and totally precious and the ribbons were so sweet
and a mix of Dainty and Bold. You can tell in seconds
how much love went into the making of this Tutu and
the matching hair piece made it all come together and
I can't wait to warmer weather so I can parade her around
the yard looking like a dancing angel! My only complaint
is Rowan doesn't have any hair! (SNIFF sniff! SOB!) I
did get around that though and took a headband and
put her hairpiece on that for I wanted the whole look
come that hot place or high water! I deserved to see her,
I mean, she deserved to look so sweet! She was truly
my Valentines Day Candy Treat!
Posh Little Tutus has a selection that dreams are made
of and everything Holiday on the calendar is celebrated
with a Tutu to match! The Valentines Day selection is
enormous and in the Princess collection the Haute Princess
made me sigh out loud for I know that is going to find its
way into our house super fast! Don't even turn to the
Pettiskirts for you will end up stuck like I did and rationalizing
to yourself why your daughter needs at least 3 if she is
going to look good. The Wedding collection made me wish
someone I knew was getting married right now for Rowan
would be wearing it if I had to make a few threats to get
her in. Do you think Andrew is too young to get married
and can you get away with an arranged marriage in this
country for I really want to see Rowan in one of those Tutus
and Andrew can take one for the team!
They have more then Tutus at the store too and
just check out the Easter dresses for you will gush like
I did and I could not help but to add the Easter Chocolate
and Blue dress to my wish list for when Rowan is a little
older. They have Fairy Wings and Jewelry and Photography
props for I always wondered how some people had the most
adorable baby photos and I went to the same place as them
and asked and the people looked at me like I was nuts. Now
I know, they bring them from home and I so wish I would have
had Rowan in the Roses Baby Prop for it is too much! They
have a huge selection of Baby Hats that would look
fantastic paired with any of the outfits or you can take
the suggestions they have with items pictured for they
have fantastic taste in pairing one item with the next. The shoes
are also fantastic and well, okay, you got me, I am in
love with just about, OKAY, everything on the site! If I
had the room at home I would take one of everything
and Rowan would be dressing all dazzly for eons to come!
Your really can't go wrong with the Quality, the design,
the selection and the pricing for they make one of a
kind items that will make every person who sees your
little Girl Oh, and Awe and gush with delight. These guys
really know how to rock a Tutu!
Posh Little Tutus was also kind enough to offer a contest

stunning, will win the Red Beauty Blooming Crochet Baby

Bravado Designs Review and Giveaway!

Now, I have not worn a decent Bra since, wow,
the last time I got measured was so long ago
I think Andrew was still in grade school. Since
then I have been making due with whatever is on
the racks at Target or Macy's without ever really
knowing what size I wear. I was going for style not
comfort and let me tell you my back has paid for
it over the years. Now with a new baby it was been
really bad for nothing I had "really" fit before and
now it is just plain old ridiculous to even try to
squeeze into them for not only would they not fit
they would make it next to imposable to breast
feed. I have been going Braless and yeah guys,
before I get a Whoot whoot, remember I am 40 and
have had two kids and let me just give a friendly reminder
that gravity and I have not been the best of buds and
I will never have to worry about my knees getting cold.
Now maybe I am stretching the truth a little bit but
the gals have been known to try to escape from the
bottom when they used to aim for the top. Going
around with no bra may have been sexy when I was
in my 20's but now it is just embarrassing and if it
were not for the fact that I have none that are comfortable
now I would be living in a Bra at all times. I need to
have one desperately but I know nothing about how
to pick one that is right for me! Good thing I did a
review for Bravado Designs!

I have not been measured for a Bra in over 10 years.
In fact I was so uncomfortable when they did it at
the store I pretty much closed my eyes and prayed for
it to be over with just like I would at a dentist office
if I were getting something like a Root Canal. When
I spoke with them at Bravodo she asked my measurements
and I was pretty much going "great, this will stink" on
one hand but then on the other I was going, "Hey, at least
I get to do it myself." I have always been self conscious
but had I known people would walk you through this
step from the comfort of your own home I might have done
it a lot soon then I did. She was super cool about it
and I can tell she was a pro for I thought a simple measure
would be a no brainer and just started shooting numbers
at her and she came back with a "no, not right at that spot
but move about three inches down and.........." It was like
she was there and knew where I had measured to come
up with these crazy figures I did and to be able to tell just
from a number what part of my torso I had the tape around
made me feel pretty darn confidant she knew what she
was doing. She has got to know a heck of a lot to hit things
right on like that. After I searched the house to make sure
she wasn't hiding in the closet I measured for the numbers
she wanted and gave them too her and she made some
recommendations based on my lifestyle, activity level and
some other factors on what items would be best for me
and again I was pretty stunned. I didn't think it mattered
what you did all day when picking a Bra but it does
when calculating the amount of support you might
need. She also got the feeding information and how
long it has been since I had Rowan. There are a lot
of factors that I just took for granted in buying a
bra over the years and I now know why I was always
so uncomfortable. What strikes me as so funny now
is I had to wear some pretty nice business attire
for my job and thought nothing of dropping a few hundred
dollars on some shoes or a jacket or skirt but for Bra's
I never got the good ones. I would buy expensive ones
but based on the look not the fit. I always grabbed off
the shelf and guessed at sizes. I feel like such an idiot
now.

When they came I of coarse loved them appearance
wise for she made some awesome recommendations and
again I had to check the closet to see if she had snuck in
my house for she was either snooping through my things
or her and I share some really good taste. She could also
be very very good at what she does but I like the snooping
theory best for it makes for good print. Bravado, Caught
Snooping in My Drawers! Film at 11! Really now, she sent
the Allure Under-wire and sent matching undies in black and
it just looked perfect for me. It is something that will
go with a lot of my wardrobe and is kinda of a combination
VA VA Voom and I got ya covered babe, Bra and Panties
set. What I mean is it has lace in key places to give you
that super feminine feel but also has material where you
need the coverage and I have to say it is probably the
first Bra and Panties set I have ever owned that fits
more then one category. This is a set you can wear
around the house and feel comfy, at work and look
fashionable and still comfy and out for a night with
your sweetie and not have to rush into the bathroom
and change when you get home so he doesn't see you
wearing "those old things" again. She nailed the sizing
right on for the bottoms too ( ah, remind me to add
Melissa to my Christmas card list!) Now let's not forget
it is functional. These were made for Nursing Mothers
and work perfect! I am going to let you know what
their store says about the Allure as an example of
how good these really are. The Allure features:
• Premium spacer fabric: an innovative, lightweight and
breathable material which will keep you feeling cool and
dry.
• Three-dimensional stretch in the cups to beautifully
accommodate your changing shape.
• Lightly lined cups to provide discretion and help hide
nipples and breast pads.
• A round, wide wire to subtly distribute weight, which is
slightly shorter than the wire channel, to avoid pinch or
constriction of breast tissue. Note that after washing, you
may want to push the wire back towards the center of the
bra if you've found it has shifted.
And also:
• Allure was created with the input and approval of Lactation
Consultants, who recognize it for its superior comfort, high
quality and healthy fit.
• Stunning features such as molded, smooth and lightly-lined
cups, and a low center front, make this bra a wonderful staple
for your nursing lingerie wardrobe.
• Mesh under the lace on the sides and bands of all sizes to
add further support and strength, and create a thin layer between
your body and the lace (for those women who enjoy the look of
lace, but have especially sensitive skin - this mesh layer gives
you both benefits).
• Amazing under-wire support while maintaining good breast
health.
• Easy double-cup sizing system, for a great fit that will
accommodate your size fluctuations.
• Feminine touches such as soft, non-scratchy lace and lightly
embroidered straps which are all invisible under clothing and
give the bra a hint of sensuality.
• Easy nursing features, including cups that drop fully and
easily away from the breast to promote skin-to-skin contact
with baby, and signature B-Clips that lie flat under clothing
and provide one-handed nursing access.
• Matching boy short panty.

Now if that wasn't enough right there Bravado also carries
many other designs. Each one is of a supreme quality and
each offers its own list of benefits for Mom. Like I was
telling you guys, I sorta gave her my last 6 months life
story so we could decide what Bra would be best for me
to start with. It doesn't mean others in their line are not
right for me but the Allure just covers all my needs on a
daily basis. You really have to read through the options
on each one to find out what would be right for you because
let me tell you I was one of those people who didn't put much
stock in the school of certain Bras for certain people thought
and after trying on and wearing one that was made for me
I am now a convert and will never ever just pick one up off
the shelf again. Other Bra's in their collection include:
The Original in Bamboo and regular
Body Silk Seamless
Lifestyle Microfiber
Embellished Microfiber
Exquisite Nursing
Supreme
Essential Tank
Sublime
They also carry tanks and accessory's and Undies and have
some really really good sales going on. Another thing I really
liked about Bravado is they really care about the Moms
they do business with. They offer all sorts of help and tips
for those of us who struggle that is extremely detailed.
They are also a green company and have been before
green was in. Not only do the care about raising healthy
children they care about raising a healthy planet for those
children to live in. There is also a huge section on sizing
for if you are a little DUH! like I am you are really going
to need that help and what I thought was the way you
measure cup and Bra size and what really are the way
are two totally different things. Without them I never would
have known. Heck, without them I would still be walking
around without a Bra for the ones I have bought off the
rack are so darn uncomfortable I can't stand it. Bravado
is also single handed responsible from saving my
teenage son from being scarred for life by seeing his mother
walk around in clothing and no Bra for it is certain he would
turn 17 and 18 thinking all woman are as oddly shaped
as his mother and jiggle where they are not supposed to
jiggle. I am sure if he knew why his Mother suddenly
stands proud he would thank them! All in all I found their
whole site, not just their spectacular selection of Bra's
an invaluable resource for pregnant and nursing Mothers
and they are top of the line in my book!
Bravado Designs is also going to be top of the line in
one of my readers books as well for they are offering
to give one lucky reader an Allure Under-wire Nursing
Bra as well. To enter just head over to the site and
take a look around then come back here and post
what you have learning in a comment. The contest

Nacho Mama Tees Reivew and Conest!

Ever had something to say but knew people
would give you the look if you did? Well don't say
it, wear it! Nacho Mama Tees has a shirt for just
about every occasion. From snappy comebacks,
TV shows, down and out silly or you can even
explore your dark side and let your boss know
how you really feel, Nacho Mama has all your
needs covered.

A lot of their shirts say the things I have always
wanted to but never had the nerve to say it. They
make it funny too boot! More of their T-shirts take
you back to a better day and you will find yourself
surrounded with people pointing and telling you they
remember that! ( I hear banjo music!)These shirts
make great gifts for the Holidays and are even better
gifts for yourself. I must warn you though, these are not
your Mama's shirt!

Andrew received a shirt for review and it was not only
hysterical it was fantastic in the Quality department. Now
this shirt was reviewed by a 16 year old boy who goes
through clothes like you can just rub a Gennie lamp and
have an endless supply. I almost didn't give them the
Michelle Test for I didn't think it would be fair. He is
so hard on clothes that I thought this would be more then
enough of a testament to the shirts quality but as
I was thinking this Andrew walked into the room with
yet another piece of clothing he had ruined ( how do
you put holes in blue jeans less then a month
old? ) and put me in a sour mood so to get out of it
Nacho Mama went through the ringer, LITERALLY!
I washed and pulled and poked and prodded like a
woman on fire and I can not believe how durable
the shirt is. Not only did it pass my test I was thoroughly
impressed with the fact it is super thick and not all
thin and flimsy like most guy shirts are now a days. I
always compare them to toilet paper, you get the one
ply or the triple ply and the shirts lately are supposed to
be the triple ply for the price you pay but what they
do is take the triple ply and make three shirts out of
it and you are left with one ply garbage. Not here,
this shirt will rock for a while. Now, I also have had the
shirt for about ten days for I told you I was going to put
it through the ringer and Andrew has worn it 8 times
in those ten days for he layers his clothes and will wear
another over the top so it doesn't look like he is
wearing the same thing over and over again. I washed
it 10 times extra in those days and it was on Doctor
Damages body as well and is still perfect and not even
the slightest hint of being stretched out. The shirt is
da bomb, no doubt about it!

Add in the fact they have a great selection,
loads of funny quips and snappy comments and you
have a T-shirt to tell Mama all about. Great shirt, great
price and they eve beat the boy. I wonder what Chuck
Norris would say about that?

Now for the really good part, I told them how much I
loved them and they said they wanted to give you guys
a shirt too! All you have to do is head on over and tell
me what shirt you would pick and leave a post telling
me the shirt and size for the lucky winner is going to
get it sent right to their house! The contest starts
tonight and runs midnight march 23rd.

Crazy Dog T-shirts Review and Giveaway!

Hard to shop for relatives Beware! We have
the cure for you fickle guy blues! Crazy Dog T-shirts!
I must say they have a shirt for every personality and
when I first found their site a while ago I bust out
laughing and my son ran into the room to see if
he finally had his chance to send me off to the loony
bin and get me out of his hair!

I had a blast taking a stroll down memory lane
in the 80's section and since when did the high-
lights of my youth become retro! From safe to down
right don't let your Mama read this, the place has it
all!
My son loves their Chuck Norris Shirts and wants
to collect them all so if any of you guys wanna.........
well, never mind, but all you have to do is check out
the home page and next time you check your watch you'll
find three hours have went by and you haven't laughed
that much in years.

Let's not forget the even better stuff! They are in
inexpensive and offer free shipping when you purchase
four or more shirts. They have shirts for men, women and
kids and even costumes for you and your dog. Prices
start at 9 bucks and everyday they have a special for
only $6.99. You just can't beat that! In fact how I found
out about them is I was searching for a shirt as a gift and
everywhere I looked it was around 20 dollars. I even tried
Ebay for this was for a joke and I just didn't want to spend
20 bucks. I was just about ready to throw in the towel and I
found these guys! Now, well let's just say I tell what kind of
mood my son and Husband are in just by reading their shirts
everyday.

I received a shirt I have had my eye on for a while for
review, the boys are stupid throw rocks at them and was
tickled pink as the shirt to get it! It is delicate as us
females are but don't let the girly style fool you for I gave
it the Michelle Test and its dainty design does not change
the fact it is durable as all get out. I loved the light weigh
feel of it and I was really excited for even though places
say we have T-shirts for Ladies most of the time you just
get a guy style shirt that has a girly picture on it but this
one has been made for the gals the whole way. I have
worn it a bunch for I love rubbing it in the guys faces
and it fits perfect and not only still looks bright and vibrant
it still has kept its shape and I have a bad problem with
sticking my knees under something and stretching it out!
With tons of designs to choose from and great fashion,
quality and pricing you just can't go wrong with these guys!
In fact to buy else where would be Crazy, Dog!

Now for the really good part, I told them how much I
loved them and they said they wanted to give you guys
a shirt too! All you have to do is head on over and tell
me what shirt you would pick and leave a post telling
me the shirt and size for the lucky winner is going to
get it sent right to their house! The contest starts
tonight and will run to Midnight on March 22nd!

SnowStoppers Review and Giveaway!

Brrrrrrrrrrr, welcome to Michigan, home of the Freezing
cold, foot after foot of snow and Drifts so high instead
of making a snow fort out of them you can make a snow
apartment complex. I hate just walking out to the car
for the wind chill knocks my socks off and I can not
bundle up enough! When I take out Johns old Beater
of a truck it is even worse for you spend all that time
clearing the windows and snow off of everything and
then jump in and start her up and it takes 42 years
to even feel the heat. John is such a baby he will leave
it to the windshield wipers to remove the snow and
ice and scares the Bejesus out of me for I can't stand it
when he starts to move the truck and there is only a tiny
spot he can see out of and no spot that I can see out
of. I keep waiting for the impending CRUNCH of his truck
taking out a stop sign or worse yet, another car for
his line of sight has got to be skewed! What is funny though
is when I was a child I could not wait to go out in the snow.
I would spend the whole day laying out in a snow bank making
forts, snow balls and snow men and try to stop me from
covering the whole yard with snow angels. My Grandmother
would stand at the door and scream for me to come in
begging to get out of the cold with it only open a crack so
the Arctic chill wouldn't follow me in! I would slam a cup
of Cocoa and go right back out. The whole City would be
shut down and frozen over and you could look down any
block and see hoards of kids all over the streets! I remember
one time in particular that we had an ice storm, 1977, and
this shut down everything for almost a week. Jobs, School,
the streets and more. A lot of places did not even have power
and people were huddled in their homes trying to keep warm
but still, the streets were flooded with children having
a blast and thinking the ice storm was the best thing
to ever happen!
Years later on a snow day I look outside and smile.
Somethings never change and my son used to sit right by
my side on Mornings that the snow had fell the entire night
before and watch the school closings just hoping he could
run out and play. I helped him with forts and castles and
had more then one snow ball fight and those crowds of
kids, yes, they are still there, laughing and playing
and making Angels and hoping their parents don't call
them in for even though they love the Hot Chocolate
they love the snow even more! Little snow suits and
mitten and gloves are replaced with fresh dry ones and
with a pat on the butt they are sent back out to play!
I remember how much fun I had but as a Parent when
Andrew was young I remember a whole other set of
items too, the worries.
Is he warm enough?
Is He Dry enough?
Are the hat and mittens he is wearings staying on snugly?
Is the water seeping through?
Is the hat slipping off and not covering his ears?
I don't even know why I bothered to stay in the house
for I was out and checking on him a zillion times a hour
and unlike my Grandmother who cracked the door, here
I am out there in slippers and a thin T-shirt adjusting his
clothes and pretty much embarrassing him to death in front
of his friends. Most of his snow gear was pieced together
from different stores and nobody really carried complete
selections of children's items for it was always a little of
this and a little of that and heaven forbid you get there
after October first for then everything was so picked over
you were lucky to find a pair of mittens that had a left
and a right, let alone be ridiculous enough to assume
they might allow you the luxury of a choice in products.
I could never understand how Michigan retailers could
get away with this for um, HELLO, it snows every single
year and kids grow every single year and parents have to
buy new items every single year so you think they would
cater to that. I guess the reasoning is beggars can't be
choosers so you take what you can get. Well my son was
born on the dawn of the Internet and my daughter is here
at a time when I now have a choice and can assure what I
dress her in is not only stylish and cute but functional,
of great quality and truly effective. In short, I want her
to be able to play and me to be able to breath at the same
time with out constantly freaking out that she is warm and
toasty and wearing a hat and mittens that are sub par and
leak.

Unlike the retail stores here where I walk in to
look for items and I am directed to an area, then a
shelf in the area and then a spot on the shelf in the
area and told here are your choices, on line they were
vast and it seemed like a daunting task to find the best.
Wow, I thought I would be searching through site after
site for forever and a day! Then I came across SnowStoppers!
Now only do they offer a choice of nylon or fleece Hats
and Mittens and Gloves these guys are a store that caters
to kids! They even carry extra small sizes for your toddlers
so they can get out there with their brothers and sisters and
play too! I sent them an email letting them know how
glad I was to find them and they offered to send me some
for review to let me see for myself how great these were.
I was sent a selection of sizes and materials and for one,
I can not help but to look at a little child's anything and not
go aweeeeeeeeee, for if you take any item and make it
pint size it is always too cute for words and the mittens
and gloves did not disappoint. They were adorable. The
Quality of both designs ( Nylon and Fleece ) were both
top shelf for I yanked like a mad woman on any part
I could pull on and nothing short of a blow torch is going
to pull these apart. I tossed them in the washer and dryer
for the standard four loads a day for four days and they look
like day one and did not shrink at all in the dryer and that
was a concern for there is nothing I hate more then
getting pair of gloves or mitten in the perfect size then
washing them and POOF they are two sizes too small.
These not only looked great after washing they held their
size. I am also a busy Mom and unless something is a dress
only item I seldom take the time to read washing instructions
so I could not even tell you if you are supposed to wash
them on a normal cycle and truth be told I didn't even
care, I had to see with my own eyes for at my house
they will make it into a normal cycle sooner or later so
I had to know. Perfection!

Now came the ultimate test! The Kids! SnowStoppers
was super to me and sent a bunch of different sizes so
I decided to go all out with the Mittens and John has three
Nephews who are aged 2, 4, and 6 and live in the country.
Who better to test then three rugged boys? These boys
have their hands in everything and it doesn't matter if the
snow is slushy or wet, muddy or icky and just like Iron Man
the cold just doesn't register and their Mom is always trying
to drag them back in before they catch pneumonia due to
the fact they just won't come in on their own. We thought,
oh yes, perfect test subjects. We have also been having
scattered snow storms around here and it was the perfect
time to do the test. Fresh Snow, heavy wet snow at that,
and 3 boys to play in it! Off they went. 3 hours they were
out there. Even their snow suits were soaked through
and us adults had to take turns on who went and stayed
with them for like the big babies we all were, it was too
cold! As we were peeling things off, and the Hot Chocolate
was heating, we started checking hands. DRY! As a group
of Moms we pretty much could not believe it and flipped the
Mittens inside out and the whole inside was dry. Now the
Coats and snow pants were wet inside and out but these
Mittens were still warm and dry after being in snow for
hours and wet snow at that. Perfect!

What makes the SnowStoppers so remarkable is the
SnowStopper Sleeve. It goes under the coat and over
the child and stops the snow from getting inside so
the effect is the mittens do not fall off and your child
does not get cold! Michigan Moms can not ask for more
then that. Hours of fun, dry children and a perfect Mitten
or Glove! YES! The mittens also feature thinsulate and
a waterproof liner so the kids stay super warm. The Hats
are just as awesome and I loved the Chin strap for
it is thick and stays put and doesn't come unhooked with
one turn of the head as so many others do! They also
have an eMitt flip top for older kids and Adults that is a
mitten and glove all in one and perfect for cold winters
and playing with the kids! Now Mom and Dad can stay
warm to as the kids laugh in delight every time the mean
little monsters peg me with another snowball! Boys!
I am so glad Rowan will be a sweet little angel next year
when she is out in the snow and won't get a kick out
of taking down Mommy. We all know Daddy is the
better target. SnowStoppers also have a line of Polar
Hoods and these rock at keeping Mom and Dad warm for
I freeze like crazy and I am the tuff one at our house,
John is the baby. Last thing I want to tell you is that
though their Mittens and Gloves are Hot their Prices
are Cool! Super affordable that you don't have to wait
for a end of season clearance sale just to suit up
your kids. Better yet, you get an even better deal on
a set! Now that is cool!
