Clip-Money.com Review and Giveaway!

Remember the Titanium Money Clip we
just went over not too long ago? Hey, those guys
make more then Money Clips and I have to
tell you. With all the things going on around here
I almost forgot. I have been doing so much running
lately I have more then once forgotten to take my
medication with me and I have paid for that. Dearly.
The few times I have remembered I had a whole other
set of problems. The plastic bottles. Life has been such
a whirl wind the last couple of weeks I crushed two
of them by being so out of sorts I sat on my purse.
One, it is not a good idea to take your entire bottle
of medication with you in the first place. If you are
only going somewhere for a day or so and cart it
along you run into the risk of loosing it or even having
it stolen. When you take the medications I take loosing
your medication is no small thing. For starters my
insurance will only cover it every so often and most
of the items I am on are not cheap. I don't know
about you but I just don't have a few extra hundred
dollars laying around to replace a prescription. The other
being that a lot of my prescriptions are Narcotics and
too make sure no funny business is going on most doctors
request a police report if it is stolen and will only replace
a ruined one once a year or less. So where is a good
place to keep them? Where would they be safe?
A medication sorter? One of those Monday through Sunday
deals that keep everything straight? Now that sounds good
in theory but when you are in an out of waiting rooms
and doctors offices and the hospital lounge that is not
always a good thing. For one you are pre-occupied by
why you are there and not on full alert and the other thing
is if someone does look through your items and sees that
it would be the first thing they grab. So what should I
do then? Well Clip-Money.com has something just for
that purpose. The Pill Fob! This hooks right on your
key chain and it made out of Titanium and there is no
way in the world you can crush it by sitting on it.
No way it can get ruined at all. It is lightweight and
stays out of the way and can even serve as a spot to
store some emergency cash. This is a must have for
anyone who needs a certain medication and I know I
am getting one for my Mothers Nitro pills for she has
yet to remember to bring some with her when we leave
the house. The Pill Fob solves all your problems barring
theft but, but but, they also make something to help there
too!

Clip-Money.com also makes a Titanium Whistle that
will last a life time and this is a must have for any
single girl or daughter. Guys, you can use them too
but I know for a fact when Rowan is old enough to
go places by herself this is the first thing she will
have. At the first sign of danger I will pound it in her
head to blow that non-stop to help comes. Run and
blow and if you see a person touching your Pill Fob,
blow then too! We teach our children and young ladies
to be vigilant in today's world. To carry their keys out
so they can be used as a weapon and to not go into
dark areas and travel in groups but this doesn't always
work out. Sometimes they end up in those situations any
ways and sometimes they are too young to have keys, so
what then? A whistle is a perfect choice for it is loud
enough to attract attention and that is what they need.
The first order of business should be to alert every person
around that you need help by screaming "Fire" and
blowing that Whistle to a mob arrives to help!
The Whistle is also great for calling the kids in
the house at the end of the day or if you are camping
and hear a wild animal give it a blow and it might just
scare it away. Give it a bunch of blows and it might
just scare everything away. Sporting events or whatever
other reason you might need a whistle for, make it
a titanium for this is one whistle you will never have
to worry about replacing. It is also lightweight and loud
and is sure to attract loads of attention no matter what
you use it for. Both the Pill Fob and the Whistle can
be placed on a Titanium Chain that can be cut to
length and are a perfect way to carry both of these
items and with Titanium you know you are going to
get the best value for your money and a product that
is sure to last forever. Last of all, the people from
Clip-Money.com care for their customers and are not
only lightening fast with delivery they are always there
to answer your questions and are a fantastic company
to work with all around. Next time your parent is fumbling
for their blood pres sue medication in a twist off child and
adult proof plastic bottle like we see Uncle Bob do every
Sunday at breakfast make their life a little more easy with
an easy to open and forever safe Titanium Pill Fob. The
next time your Teenage Daughter or Son says they are
walking a couple of blocks down the street to their friends
after dark, rest more easy knowing they have their Titanium
Whistle with them. Both of these items are just what the
Doctor ordered to keep your own blood pressure at
a manageable level so you are not the one fumbling with
a Pill Fob on a Sunday Morning breakfast with the family.

Clip-Money.com has once again thought of my readers
and they are offering one lucky winner the choice of either
a Pill Fob or a Whistle of their own. To enter just
head over to the site and take a look around then come
back here and post what you have learned. The contest

isABelt Review and Giveaway!

I know I often complain about Jeans today.
They ride your Hips, don't cover your booty,
especially one as ample as mine and are always
tight in one place and too baggy in another. The
booty things is what drives me the most mad
though for I feel like my pants are always going
to fall down. Even dress pants are starting to
follow this trend and I feel like I am going out
of my mind. Step, step, step, Pull Up Pants,
step, step, Again With The Pants, Step, PANTS,
Step, step, Pull up (SCREAM) Pants! All day
long. My other problem is I mostly wear pants
and since I am wearing a 6 not a 4 after Rowan
most of my pants are new and therefore that
particular style since it is all I can find. So
as it stands I have a closet full of pants that
feel like they are going to fall off and every time
I walk more then 5 feet I look like an escapee of
a mental ward without his medication. Now a
belt does help me feel like my pants will stay
up or at least ease my mind for mentally I know
they are re-enforced and therefore less likely
to fall off, but who has the money to buy a
belt to match every pair of pants they own. Now
I know I could just buy a couple of belts and
make it match all the pants I own or even
just suck it up and deal with it for the odds of
my pants really falling down are just my imagination
and if these low ridding jeans really did have
the possibility to fall right off somewhere, someone,
would of had it happen and it would be all over
the news or TV or maybe some America's funniest
home videos. Or I could order an isABelt.
Since trying it for review I decided the last
option would be my best. The first thing I noticed
with isABelt was the inventor of them had pretty
close to the same issues as I did. Low Rise Jeans.
Unlike me she did something about it and thus isABelt
was created and now the rest of us can enjoy the fruits
of her labor. Thank goodness too for I am sick to death
of the tugging and a couple of days before the belt came
I actually broke a belt loop trying to get them over my
hips. Her belts are perfect for preventing slippage and
they are not the least bit bulky and also does away with
that loop of extra material you have when sitting down
or squatting where people can look right down your pants
and you might even have been approached about a job in
the Plumbing field. Better yet, nobody will even know you
have it on unless you are showing it off. Of coarse with me,
I have to show off everything to anyone who will stand still
for more then 30 seconds. I loved the belt I was sent and
for the first time since this crazy fad happened I have been
able to wear a pair of Jeans without constantly yanking on them.
Another thing I loved was I gave Andrew one for he has the
other fashion fad that needed to be put out of its misery when
it first hit the shelves. Those baggy jeans that are meant to
show the boys boxers. Now Andrew doesn't start out trying to
get pants like that but the problem is with his size the pants
that large are pretty much all like that. I have tried to get him
a smaller waist size and he ends up popping the button before
he has owned them for a week. isABelt allows him to keep them
up where they belong and not constantly slipping down. I can
almost forgive the person who invented the Low Rise Jeans for
now that I have the belt I no longer worry about them hitting
my ankles but the person who made those Jeans for the boys
just had a plain old twisted sense of humor. I don't know how
many times I have been at the store or walking the dog to the
park and saw a group of boys and it is almost second nature
for them to tug their pants up every few minutes. Like a round
robin but instead of the next person up singing the next person
up is yanking on their pants. How can teenagers think that is
cool? Unfortunately for my son he was drug into the craze with
Mom kicking and screaming. The cold hard truth of the matter
is if you want them to be long enough you are stuck with a
waist like that. I have bought him belt after belt but with his
belts style is not the issue, one that will last and is easy to
put on or take off is, for the Leather ones I bought him
snag and catch on the loops and are such a hassle my ever
so lazy teenager will just skip it all together. Yeah, yeah, that
has started more then one heated discussion at my house. My
point is he will spend less time threading the belt then he will
pulling up his Jeans and his is if he didn't have to be at school
so early he would not be so rushed. Teenage logic, you just
have to love it! isABelt is made from a smooth elastic and
glides through the loops and is a snap to put on. He has no
problem wearing the belt everyday for it meets his requirements
of 30 seconds or less and out the door. He is also a huge fan
of people not knowing it is even there for teen fashions are way
more complected then an adults and there is no way for me
to keep up with their fads and this way it doesn't matter what
the styles are it will go with them all.
I loved the belt for it is adjustable. Since having Rowan I
have been struggling to lose the last 15 pounds and this struggle
has turned into a mini yo yo weight loss and weight gain. Since
one belt is made to fit multiple sizes it is perfect for me. I also
realized while wearing, it also helped to have a belt be able to
expand and retract when you deal with that monthly bloat. With a
normal belt there is no give and little forgiveness and every month
for a couple of days my previous belts felt snug and uncomfortable
and sometimes just don't fit at all. No more! I am also happy that
belt comes in black also, for though I love the fact I can wear a
clear and not have to worry about it clashing with my outfit most
of my clothes are black to begin with and with the black belt I
can tuck in my shirt and the belt looks fantastic with its slim
and really fashionable design. For me that is a great selling point.
isABelt solved a ton of issues of mine and saved me the hassle
of cleaning up the bonfire I was going to set to burn all those
dang low rise Jeans.

isABelt doesn't just stop helping people keep their pants up
when they are wearing ones with belt loops. The owner and
designer also understood that even loop-less pants have issues
and created a tape that you can use with the belt that is
double sided to help keep the belt snug and secure and just where
you want it. I love wearing a belt over a long shirt but the problem
there is my odd shaped torso allows for a lot of slippage and
the isAStrips makes for the perfect solution to hold a belt. It is
two sided tape made just for your clothing that keeps that belt
in place. They also carry the itsABoottopper that helps you keep
those old or outdated boots a little bit longer. Don't dump them,
give them a new life with a topper. Think of it as Jewelry for
your boot and it comes in three style, the feather, beads and
gems. Perfect for a little lift to a dieing shoe! The isABelt itself
comes in your choice of styles with the wide, the Jr, the original
and the Breast Cancer Awareness Salute. Love all the gadgets
that isABelt has and just can decide, well they also have a
fashion fix it toolkit that has the whole lock, stock and smoking
hot fashions when you use their gear! The kit comes complete
with their whole product line in a handy dandy tool box that
tells your hubby you are now running with the big dogs, as
a bonus you are also getting a $35.00 dollar savings when
you order the whole menu like that! isABelt is perfect to
turn those fashions don'ts into fashion do's and revamp your
wardrobe all at the same time. I gotta say, I am thinking of
knocken that tool box John never used off his shelf and getting
me a brand new one from isABelt! That will teach him!
isABelt is also holding up the pants of one of my readers
for they are going to give one reader an Original isABelt in
their choice of the clear or of the black. To enter just head
over to the site and take a look around then come back here
and post what you need most! The contest will start tonight
and run to Midnight on April 22nd.

Kid Bean Review and Giveaway!

Rowan is just learning to have some favorite
toys. I am not talking about the ones she just liked to
play with or the ones that just keep her entertained. She
is an adventurous little girl and lots of things keep her
entertained. Heck, a Cracker Wrapper keeps her entertained
for everything is new and exciting. I am talking about
toys she smiles when she sees. Holds close and offers
hugs and it is plain to see to anyone, truly loves. She
has favorite toys, yes, but in the last 6 weeks or so
she has adopted a couple of Babies of her own and
I get just as mushy as she does when I see her offer
her baby kisses and hugs. Right now there are two
that are her special little babies though I have offered
her many dolls. I always wanted to shop for them and
I admit I have gotten a little carried away. Though my
efforts were futile for not one of the dolls I choose were
her choice. None of the ones I thought she would favor
are greeted with her hugs and kisses and those adorable
baby smiles. Her picks are hers alone and I already can
see the trend forming where it will not be long before she
has to tuck her baby in before I tuck her in. It won't be
long before she understands how much a Mommy can love
her baby.
I can't help but to smile when she does at the site
of one of her babies and when you ask her if she wants to
hug her baby and she grabs them with gusto and squeezes
them with more energy then she has ever squeezed me and
pats their little heads as if she is offering them comfort. A child's
first toy that they truly love is enough to tug on even the most
stoic persons heart strings. Now I told you, I went a little, well
a lot, nuts buying dolls for her to try and peak her interest but
it was this next product review I did that provided her Baby that
she keeps close to her heart. Kid Bean is an Organic Children's
store that offers a wide selection of items starting at your bath
and body care needs all the way down to your toys, clothing and
furniture. Whatever you need they have. They have the hottest
and most efficient brands of baby carriers with brands like New Native
Baby and I spent a lot of time with my shoe fetish and their
children's shoes and was totally impressed by their own line of
Organic shoes. Their Organic Sandals are just the thing for the
up-coming spring and were so cute I just about forgot I was
looking for Rowan. I was also impressed because a lot of the
products they carry I have reviewed before and know first hand
just how great and exceptional the quality is and was really
excited to have them all located in one convenient place.
Every department has an impressive selection and you can
be confidant with your purchase for they take pride in offering
you only the best Organic Products on the market. Normally I
would not go that far in my claim but like I told you I have
personally tried a lot of these items already and know just how
good they truly are.
Before I tell you about some of the items I fell in love with
on the site let me tell you about the item Rowan fell in love with.
For the review Rowan received a doll. Not just any doll mind you,
a Honeysuckle Dreams Doll that is made just for your child. This doll is
Organic and made from 100% Organic Cotton and also made in the
good old U.S of A so you know it has a superior quality you can
trust but thats not all. When you order it you pick out the details
and when your child recieves this Doll it is the spitting image of
them. Rowans has strawberry Blond hair, blue eyes and I swear is
almost as cute as she is. My little baby has her own little baby
that looks just like her and there could not be a cuter site in
the whole world. The cute factor is through the roof here but that
is not the only thing that made the Honeysuckle Dreams doll so
perfect. It also makes the best doll for a childs first when you
factor in there are no small parts, nothing that can come off in
babies mouth, all hand maid and embrodored with quality stitching
and even the coloring is made from natural dyes from roots, leaves,
flowers and berries so you do not have to worry about giving your
child something Toxic. So when Rowan snuggles up close with
her little baby I don't have to worry about choking or lead or
any of the other concerns that have become so highlighted in
the news today. She gets a baby that she loves and I love that
it is 100 percent safe for her. Kid Bean just knocked one out of
the park here for me and if Rowan could talk I am sure she
would agree!

Now they have more then dolls though I have to admit I
am a little hooked on those right now, but they have a huge
selection of toys ranging from those precious little dolls to Arts
and Crafts, Musical INstruments and some of the most orignal
and interesting games I have had the chance to run across for
all ages. There is a wonderful section for Maternity and Nursing
that offers a vast selection of Organic products for Mom to be
so you can make sure you are doing the best for your baby before
they even hit the scene. One of my favorite places for you guys
know how I love a sale is the clearance department. Pages and
pages and did I say pages? of clearnace items that you can
get for a song and dance. Just looking for a gift? They have
you covered there too with some great gift ideas and even
Organic cards to send with. I was also completly infatuated with
the Organic Bedding and Pillows for with my Allergies and
Ashthma I am really coutious about what I put down in Rowans
bed for the odds of her having the same issues are pretty big.
I feel as if I gaurd her now she might have a better shot at
avoiding some of the garbage I have to go through and they
have everything I could ever want to aid me on that mission.
From Sheets and Blankets and Pillows all the way to matress
toppers and the Matresses themselves all at great prices for
the quality you are recieving and if that is not enough they have
a wonderful selection of Furnature and Hand Crafted Wooden
Products. They even have a Surf Board, how cute is that?
Now I know the doll and Rowans love for it hooked me in,
how could it not? There is no better way to to find out if a place
is for you or not then to see the happyness it brings to
someone you love and one look at Rowan and her wide,
I have teeth now, grin is enough to tell me they have some
incredble items that make my little angel swoon. That was
what hooked me but once I started looking through the rest
of their items I was reeled in. The fact that they are Organic
and offer Hand Crafted Quality items, hook, line and sinker.
You just can't beat that! Kid Bean has soared into this house
with a smile and a Squeeze and and it will do the same for you!

Kid Bean would like to offer one of my readers the Doll that
took my little girl by storm. One reader will win a Honeysuckle Dreams
Nusring Doll with their choice of Hair and Eye color so you little
Mini Me can have a Mini Me of thier own. To enter just head
over to the site and take a look around then come back here
and post what your favorite item is in a comment. The contest
will start tonight and run to Midnight on April 14th.
USA and 18 and older can enter daily and the winner

Mommy Toolbox Review and Giveaway!

Who's says Daddy's are the only one
who have a tool box? Who says Daddy's
are the only one who would use a tool
box? Mommy's are in on that stuff too.
Maybe it should be, "Daddy's are the only
ones who NEED a toolbox." For eons Mommy's
have used their creativity to use everyday
items for the parts they need. Don't have
any WD-40 to stop Jr's squeaky wheel? A little
Butter will do the trick. A hammer? EH, the
bottom of a can of Green Beans Works in a
Pinch. More then once I have used my
Metal Nail file as a screw driver or
some tooth paste to patch a hole in
the wall. Men will spend 4 days looking
at different hardware stores and asking
62 different friends what is the best
tool for the job to tighten the Cupboard
doors back on. Six Months later the
door is still about ready to fall off and
the research is still compiling and they
are "almost" there. Five minutes after that
I grab a Penny and tighten the screws and
cross that off the list. Mom's make do
with what they have.

This next review is from a Mom who
grew tired of having to wait on other
people to come up with items she needed
and knows a Mom doesn't want a steamer trunk
filled with different nails and another for
the hammers and another yet for the screwdrivers.
She wants one or two items that can do the
job of all those and more. Mommy Toolbox
started with one, over worked, over stressed
Mom who was having a hard time keeping items
like her purse and diaper bag secure with
a stroller and she gave the retail world its
chance. She looked for an item that she could
use to attach her bag right to the stroller and
leave her hands free. They have organizers but
those only fit items small, great for a cell phone
or your keys but try slipping a cell phone on
Jr's bootee next time it is wet. What Mom
or woman in general would leave the house,
even if only going to the park, without her
purse anyways? I feel her pain for I didn't know
her gadgets were around and I have even used
a bungee cord once and shoes laces more then
once to tie these items to the handle of the
stroller for just such a trip. She also hit the
hardware store and looked for a clip. Don't the
guys have clips for everything? Just about, but
not for this. Everything they need is in that
little leather wallet they cart in their
pocket, anything else, that's what Mommy's are for.
Men open Jars, women do everything else. If something
is too big for a mans pocket he has his wife hold it. In
her search she found huge clips, if she was looking to
attach a semi to the stroller, hey, she was covered . She
found tiny clips, who knows what those are for. Men
file stuff like that in the "Just in case" category
like fishing lures. Man lives 4,000 miles from
salt water but has at least one reel and 13 lures
used just for salt water for "just in case."
What they did not have though was a hook that was
big enough to fit around the handle of a stroller
and not so big she would need a forklift to
help move. So she made one. Carabeans is the perfect
size for Mommies and all their needs. Not one
tool, one need, like how the rules are written
in the men's play book, but rather one tool, anything
you can think of!

It is the perfect size for hooking your purse or
diaper bag to a stroller or shopping cart. Ideal for
attaching Jr's toy to their car seat or high chair
so you don't have to play yet another game of Dropsy!
Did they loose their woobie again? No more, hook it
right to the bed rail or play pen and you will no
longer be running around like Phycho Mom on 42 cups
of Expresso in the morning. If you have an imagination and
a need the Carabean can fill it and fix it and
Dads tool box can stay safely on the shelf until
its next dusting. There a tons of ways you can use
your gadget and unlike the boys who will be reminding
you that you could have used the 32 bit zillawatski
the ladies will be looking at you going, "Hey,
why didn't I think of that!

Mommy Toolbox also has another handy little ditty
for you busy gals, the Spring Bean. Ever need another
hand? Something that can hold one end while you hold the
other? Have an item too heavy for clothes pins to hold to
the line? Blanket keep falling off baby in the stroller or
you are trying to help your kids build a fort in the
living room and you are tired a balancing books to hold
down the edges and you really don't want to use a safety
pin or rubber band and risk ruining your blanket? Yeah,
all that has happened to me too! The worst is when I am
trying to fix something or clean something at the end of
a long item like a curtain or a blanket and you keep having
to readjust what you are doing and you even go so far as to
enlist the aid of your children to hold one end and seconds
into that you realize what a mistake for little Jimmy keeps
dropping his end or fidgeting and you have to start all over.
Okay, so we can't have an extra hand but the Spring Bean is
the next best thing! It is a super sized, heavy duty clamp
that you can use anywhere, anytime! Use them to hang up wet
swim suits or sneakers, Kids toys to dry out or even just to
store. Anytime you need something to stay put, there you

Kahina Review and Giveaway!

Have you guys heard of Kahina? I hadn't
until recently. I saw them in a magazine at
the doctors office and after I read a little
bit about them I ran right home and did a whole
lot more research. This is the next Monster Brand
guys! With Products as good and as acclaimed as
their products are I don't see how they can't be.
I read pages and pages of reviews where people
were pretty much calling their Argan Oil they
use as the foundations in their products the
new fountain of youth. Magazine after magazine
has written about their product line and now that
I am ( cough cough) 40 I am looking for something
right up this alley for three reasons:
1.I am showing my age now
2.I am scared to death I will end up looking like
the Cat lady if I go to a plastic surgeon.
3.Even if I was not a super big coward I could
never afford the prices they charge. Any plastic
Surgeons out there want a review done?

I am also really terrible on using anything on
a regular basis that is more then one or two
simples steps. Take Proactive, I could never
ever use it for its like 42 million things you
have to do to use it correctly and if you don't
follow all the steps it will never work right.
Give me extra concealer and friends with poor
eyesight instead. Kahina is supposed to be
a little more simple then that. Let's hope
for I need a fix and I need it now!

I got my big girl panties on and thought
I would send them a letter and see if I could
do a review. I know when places are on the up
like they are they seldom have time for the
little guys like me and most of the time with
something like that I get a polite NO thank
you but it never hurts to ask. I got a speedy
response and that is sorta like a Jury verdict,
at least on Law and order, speedy means you
are in trouble now! Hey, even Law and Order can
get it wrong once in a while for can you believe
it they said yes! Kahina sent me a travel pack
so I could try a little bit of more then one of
their products and it was pretty darn awesome. The
pack included such items as The Argon Oil, the
Cleanser and the Cream. The first item I grabbed
was that Argon Oil. It was pure Argan Oil and
supposed to work to:
•Minimize fine lines
•Restore elasticity
•Improve skin tone
•Reduce inflammation
•Neutralize free radicals
•Protect the skin from harmful environmental agents

Yeah, you are pretty much reading the checklist on
my own mirror of my issues for I got them all in
spades and no aces up my sleeve. I used it a week
before passing judgment and I could have wrote this
a few days after I received it for it already was
doing a spectacular job. In fact I went out to
our Corner Bar on Saturday because I have not left
the house in over a year and just needed to have some
me time. They had a Blues Band and that is a great way
to unwind so off I went while John stayed with Rowan.
When I walked in an old friend I had not seen in a few
years was in there and I was so surprised. He is maybe
8 years older then me but I have known him for about
20 years for him and my sons Dad used to own a business
together. He was as surprised to see me as I was him
and I had to pull out the baby pictures and it was nice
to have someone to talk to. The tables there are like
high wooden Banquet style seating and about 10 people
can sit at one so you are always sitting by people you
don't know. Across from us were two younger girls
and a hour or so after they sat down one of them
pulled out a compact that was adorable so I had to tell
her. They were friendly and I started speaking to them
and I was making jokes that we have kids as old as them,
turns out they were 21 and Johns oldest is 25 so older
then them.I told them I wasn't dead yet for I just had
a baby and they laughed and said to tell you the
truth we thought you were much younger.
"You did, did you?"
"Yeah, it is kinda embarrassing."
"What is?"
"We thought you were maybe 30 and some sort of
Gold Digger for your friend looks so much older then
you."
Blow me over with a feather. I told them I was almost
41 but they just gave me the best complement ever. My
friend didn't think so but I sure did and to cement the
deal the guy who was sitting the other way with
his friend leaned over and said, "I didn't mean to
ease drop but there is no way your over 40. I thought
you were way younger then this guy too!" Feather, heck,
a picture of a feather would have worked! Now Kahina,
you are my new best friend for I would not have had
that reaction a few weeks ago. Now that is proof if
I ever heard it. For me to be a text book "Gold Digger"
the man would have to be 70 plus so I think I am doing
pretty good to have them think I could go mining with
a man only a few years older then I!

The next product I tried was the cleanser. This
stuff was the bomb too! Not only did it get my face
squeaky clean it left it moist and soft too. Unlike
other cleansers that dry out your skin while removing the
dirt, Kahina's left everything good about my skin, the
few perks I had left and rolled those into some extra
perks their cleanser offers such as:
•Replace moisture loss
•Eliminate toxins and impurities
•Gently tone and exfoliate
•Brighten skin
And they deliver, remember, 30ish gold digger says so.
The last product I tried was the lotion and that was flat
out yummy! It contains all the things we use today in
a bunch of top shelf lotions but the thing here is they
are all in the same lotion. Ya, heard me, all in one.
You have your Argan Oil, of coarse, then Shea Butter
and Bees Wax. We have all heard how good Shea Butter is
and Bees Wax has that Royal Jelly thing going for it.
The Lotion is light wth a very mild scent and easy to
absorb. Also it:
•Optimally hydrates
•Protect against harmful environmental stressors
•Provide suppleness
I am really impressed with the whole product line and
can now see why all the fuss. These guys have taken
something that has been around forever in certain
parts of the world, perfected it and brought it to
the rest of us. I will have them in my bathroom from
here on out for I enjoy looking like a 30 year old, gold
digger even if I am 10 or more years older and not !

You can give it a whirl too for I have a Bottle of
the eye cream one of you can win! To enter just head

Tiny Tongs Review!

Rowan has learned to eat! Well if that
is what you want to call it. I say it is
Rowan has learned to make a mess, John
says it is Rowan is oh, so cute and Andrew
says it is Oh, I am so glad I do not have to
clean that up! She is now demanding to eat
what we have though she is not ready for most
she has to try and see for herself. Right now
her all time favorite is bread sticks from the
Pizza place but they have to be dipped in
sauce like the big peoples. If you don't she
will scream at the top of her lungs to
you do. Little baby watches everything the
big people do and has got to do the same,
step by step! I will give John points for the cute
factor for the first time I gave her a bread stick
and put some sauce on it, I had only put a little
sauce on for her and gave it to her. John
and I sat there to catch her reaction and
it was obvious she loved it for she has it all
over her face and could not get enough. When
the sauce on it was all gone I tried to
grab it to dip it in some more for her and
that little baby fought me. Grunting and
pulling with both hands and the classic baby
"Ehhhhh, Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
I could not believe how determined she was to
hold onto it. John tried and she didn't even bother
fighting she just burst into tears.
She got the bread stick back!
She loves other foods too but she is also
so darn stubborn and her thing now is to
grab the spoon. It seems now she thinks she is
a big girl and gone are those days of Mommy
and Daddy doling out the bites, now it is all
her. Soft foods are just too much of a mess to
even humor her. We tried once and I spent the
rest of the afternoon scrubbing peaches
off of every surface in the kitchen, the
rugs, the dog and her and I. Now for soft
foods I give her a spoon but distract her with
some cereal's as I scoop in the main course. Solids
she could grab with her fingers but she is determined
to be a lady and use her silverware. This also leads
to chaos! She can't get whatever she is eating on
the spoon and I will be drained if she thinks I
am going to give her a fork at her age for yeah,
Mom, you are right, she will loose and eye. What ends
up happening it she tries and tries and bless her little
heart she tries but it still rolls off if it even
bothers to get on in the first place. Then the water
works and the temper tantrum begin. I have been pretty
much at my wits end before I got the chance to
review Tiny Tongs.
These are great! Tiny Tongs are pretty much just
what you would expect them to be, tiny and tongs.
Perfect for fat little fingers to grip and they
give her some measure of control with items that
she just couldn't get a grip on before. They are
durable, non-slip, non toxic and Dishwasher safe
and gives your toddler the illusion she or he is
all growd up and can run with the big dogs at the
dinner table. The ergonomic shape, grip and tension
are made especially for fumbley fingers that are
just learning their small motor control and secretly
I think they are great for practicing and allow your
child to fine tune theirs while eating some yummy snacks!
Kids grow up so fast now a days, cliche but true and
sad to say the world around them is slow to catch
up with their advancing needs. I think I was ahead
of the grade if I knew my colors and could count to
ten by the time I hit kindergarten. Now kids are already
ready and doing simple math. How can we expect to
educate our kids so fast in academics and not expect
them to want to be learning home skills at the same
rapid pace? We can't. Once you open those little pliable
minds they absorb everything and its even worse if
they have an older brother or sister. With the age
gap between Rowan and Andrew I am just thankful Rowan
isn't asking for the keys to the car and happy so
far it has just stopped at wanting to feed herself.
Tiny Tongs is a transition from Fingers to Fork and
though the Transition may be fast and the tongs maybe
gone in a month it is an important one to make for
it allows her to develop table skills and feel
confident as she does. She gets to feel "all big!"
Plus it is a hoot watching her make sure she grabs
little Gold Fishes with her Tongs and not let a single
one slip by without hitting the Tong first. Her
determination is amazing and I can breath easy
for there isn't a doubt in my mind that if she did
not have the tongs she would grab whomever leaves
their plate unattended for just one second too
long fork or worse! Tiny Tongs are a cute and useful
addition to any home and got a two tongs up from
Rowan who will want her own seat at the table and to
leave the high chair behind any day now!

Duraflax Stax Review and Giveaway!

Snap, crackle, sizzle and Pop! There is nothing
like the roaring flames of a fire to not only set
the mood but keep you warm, entertain your
guests and all around relax you. I remember some
of the best times in my life started on a cool morning
and my Grandfather stoking the fire to get it really
blazing so I could lay in front of it. Our fireplace then
was used for heat though we had another furnace as
well but I don't ever remember referring to the fireplace
as a practical item or a utility. It was always the breakfast
table to me for Grandpa would make me big bowl of
Oatmeal and I would sit on a pillow in front of the fireplace
and just enjoy the heat. Later, in the evening it was where
everyone gathered in front of to play cards or read for
we, like so many other family's, would position our furniture
around the Fireplace for it was always the key focal point
in any house. A fireplace is just one of those things that will
never go out of style.
To cement my theory I can ask you to look around
at half the homes on the block anymore. Almost everyone
I know has an outdoor fire pit somewhere in their
back yard where they gather with friends when the sun
goes down and kick off the day. I live in a two story condo
and the houses behind me in the subdivision are all one story
ranches and I can look out my daughters bedroom window and
count at least a dozen out there that have people at
them more nights then not. I can hear their laughter and
watch the kids running around in circles delighted
to be out just a "little bit" past their bed times
for its not that their parents don't care what
time they go to bed its more the fact they are to
relaxed to realize what time it is! Now when I was
little my Grandfather had a pole barn to store his
wood in and would cut it off his own land and
spent a zillion weekends to chop it all up. Acquiring
wood was a huge deal and I remember one time we were
at a family friends for a gathering and I noticed
that my Grandfather and all the Husbands and men
were missing and feeling like I could be missing out
on something too I went off in search of them.
I located all the men in the garage where they were
taking turns playing with "Mr. Ed's"new toy. A wood chopper.
The things men do! Now this toy cost thousands of dollars
and all it really was is a conveyor belt that ran a log
down it to a blade. Then Bam, chopped wood. It also took
up a third of his four car garage so you really can't
carry it in your pocket. Now they were enthralled and
even as a child I could not understand why.
"What's it for?"
"Chop-pen some wood there, little girl."
"why do you have it?"
"To save money and not have to pay for cord
after cord of wood."
"Did you get it free?"
"Nope, this here was an investment to be sure!"
"So a Chainsaw is cheaper?"
"yes, but that takes a lot of work!"
"Do people come and put those big logs on it for
you?"
I could tell he was getting a little mad at my questions.
"No there little girl. I go cut them down in my woods!"
"Just like a chain saw?"
"I told you this was less work!"
"Oh, why don't you just buy the wood already cut?"
"Too Expensive!"
"Isn't the cutter thing expensive?"
"But it will last forever!"
Lucky for me my Grandfather also saw the silliness
of a man buying an item like this for a home fireplace
and chimed in with, "Until it breaks!" and I had
the chance to flee. To this day though I still do not
see the logic in paying all the money for something he
will only use once or twice a year. Now these men had
the luxury to have a forest out their back door so
they could collect wood for their fireplaces whenever
they needed without worrying about things like storage
or carting wood from a store to your home or even
locating a place that sells wood to begin with. Now
with the popularity of Fire pits I have noticed you
can get firewood at your local gas station or
7-11 now a days but that didn't used to always be
the case. Years ago we would have to travel out to
the country and buy in bulk and store it or have it
delivered and once again store it, and if you were
really lucky you could find it at your local hardware
store and what, you guessed it, store it. Now it
comes in pre-cut packages that are wrapped and ready
to go without the hassle of storing it or getting
your car or home all covered with pieces of bark or
other items that fall off the wood.
Durastax is one of those brands and i got a chance
to do a review for them and I really liked how it
turned out. We have an issue around here with Rats
and since I live so close to Detroit they are big
city Rats, not cute little field mice and storing
wood is a major problem. You have to have it so
high off the ground and there can only be so much
and it has to be covered due to city ordnance to
keep this problem under control. This makes it next
to imposable to buy wood in bulk or even by the
cord for the only place to store it is in your
garage or if you do not have one like I don't in
your basement. What a pain. The problem I have ran
into is two fold:
1. finding a pre-packaged brand of wood I can afford
that does not cost and arm and a leg.
2. finding one that is easily available
3. easy to store
4. quality wood that is consistent each time. I don't
want to buy something and have it burn slow one night
and get the same amount and it be gone in an hour the
next.
5. A name brand I can trust
6. A wood that is easy to use and I do not have to preform
circus tricks to get it to light.
DuraFlame gave me the chance to review their Duraflame Stax.
A remarkable firewood that was supposed to be answer to all
my issues and more. Best of all I would not have to break a
sweat cutting it myself ( as if!), pay someone a small fortune
to deliver it and drive myself nuts trying to store it or
remortgage my house for a Log Splitter that will take up half
my yard and scare the dog. The Package came and the logs didn't
look very large. They looked really tidy and I thought no way
were these puppies going to give off any heat. These are show
logs. You know, the kind the perfection people toss in their
never used fireplace to keep up the appearance they use it.
I decided to try them in the fire pit for the directions said
you can use them their, your fireplace or even in wood stove.
The were made to look like split wood and the perfect size
for the fire pit. Best of all one of my pet peeves about the fire pit
is you do not have a lot of room to stack a bunch like you
can in a fireplace and it burns so fast you are always tossing
more wood into the fire, these were meant to burn with two
so it was ideal for the fire pit. Plus they burned forever and
so long in fact I never even used the 3rd log for I lit the
fire at 6pm and at midnight I had to put it out for I was
going to bed soon and they were still burning strong.I could
not believe that for I would have went through a cord or more
with regular wood. Now I was impressed. Plus, wanna see me get
floored more? It is cold here in Michigan and I didn't think
I would be out there long. IT IS COLD! Even with the fire pit
roaring it can not toss off enough heat to keep you toasty so
it may be fun to sit by the fire on a cold night it is also
well, COLD. I don't care if there were 12 logs in the pit,
shiver me timbers. You have to sit right up on it too feel any
heat for unlike the house with the fire pit there is tons
of places for the heat to go. Straight up into the wild blue
yonder is a big one, so you pretty much have to kiss the fire
to get some of that heat your way. With the Durastax it was
like fire to the power of ten! Can one wood burn hotter then
another? Not a rocket scientists but I got to tell you it
sure felt like it did and by a lot too! Heck, add a few more
degree's and I could have taken off my coat and did a jig.
I loved these logs! I found a new home for them and I can
get all warm and cuddly all over.

I went and read through the literature and checked out
the web site for I was curious on why these seemed so warm.
I have used Duraflame many times and though they were my
preferred brand anyways, I don't remember them being this
hot, really, there is that much of a difference. What I found
out was they are specially formatted to burn solid and are
stacked to give off a more "real" appearance.
They even hit details like the charred edges and ashy-ness of a
real log.Just by the way they are built they give off 50% more
BTU then a normal log. Factor in both the regualr Duraflame
and the super awesome new and my favorite choice Stax, burn
cleaner and are greener and give off less emissions then regular
old wood and are made from 100% renewable resources to start with.
No cutting down a forest to heat your home. Lets see here, no
hard work obtaining the wood. No storage issues and they are so
affordable. No wood shake and mess all over your home. They
burn brighter, longer and hotter and are green and earthfriendly to boot!
Sign me up, I am in!

bECO review!

Rowan loves to go for a walk! Even amidst her teething
and the cold she has been suffering through she still perks
up whenever you get her outdoor gear ready. It is a little bit
chilly here in our fair state of Antartic,er, I mean Michigan but
sometimes that little girl is crying so hard or yanking at her
little ear and rubbing her jaw to the point of turning it red
that half of the day will go by without her being able to take
a nap or even give a hint of a crack of a smile. We feel so
bad for that little Baby baby but other then some Tylenol
there really isn't anything we can do for her. I have teething
tablets and teething rings and an whole assortment of items
in the freezer to all designed with the purpose of comforting
in her in mind and talk about throwing gas on a fire for all
it does is remind her she is in pain in the first place and
the screams just get louder. There is not a thing sadder to
me on this planet, or any parents I am sure, then to listen
to the cries of a child suffering. With RA in my spin and
the problems and pain I face there I can sympathize with
her and have often let my mind wander and have even
been on the edge with thoughts of giving her old fashion
remedies such as Whiskey on her gums. Now I know in
my head that is not helping her, just knocking her out
but I feel so desperate to see her calm and miss her
smile.
I found out about the walks by accident for one
really bad day for I had to go to an appointment and
had no choice but to take her and it just about broke
my heart to know her desperate wails would only get
louder once she was out of the comfort of her house
and she despises being in the car seat for Rowan is
such a busy little girl she has to see what is going on
at all times and the car seat limits her view to just
about nothing and worse yet, straps her in so she can't
even have the illusion of thinking she can work her
way to freedom. So now I was going to take a suffering
child and put her in his most detested position and
felt like such a failure as a parent for not being able
to help her, I didn't know what to do. I wanted to cancel
again but I had already canceled three times and John
was not here then so I had no choice. Even worse we
all know when a child cries they get all stuffed up and
can't breath after a while and when that child already
has a cold.................well let's just say I was suffering
almost as much as her. Now I am also a super Dunce
and had left her car seat out in the car and now had to
carry her out there and strap her in and couldn't even
get her all situated in the car seat first. UGH! Poor
little thing. I got all her gear on her as she screamed
the whole way and diaper bag and purse and shoved
as many teething rings and frozen items in there as
I could find and even double downed her with "No Throws
for one had a bottle and the other a teething ring for
I knew once we got moving I would no longer be able
to comfort her. I snatched her and with lots of kisses
and comforting words stepped out into the cold air.
The screaming baby stopped crying.
Okay, she is stunned by the cold. I took a look at her
and saw she is engrossed in the outdoors and looking
around intently through little swollen eyes. Hummmm..........
She was quiet the whole way to the car and almost
made it through the trip before she realized she was
unhappy and resumed her wails. Through the whole wait
and appointment she screamed and then once again
as soon as we got out side: Silence. Hummmmmmm
again. Again we made it almost all the way where we
were going before the screams resumed. When we got
home instead of going into the house I just dropped off
the diaper bag and took her for a walk through the condo
complex. Again silence. I walked her about 20 minutes
before my back gave me some warning pangs and was
so thankful that was enough for it allowed her the chance
to relax enough and when I brought her in she was soon
fast asleep. Later that day when she woke it wasn't long
before she started to fuss and soon the waterworks were
back in force. Another walk, Quiet. I could not believe
with all the medicinal items I had bought and the load
upon loads of teething items that cost a small fortune
all that is took to offer that little girl some much needed
relief was something she loved to distract her. Okay, Duh,
got it, I now have an answer and I should hang my head
in shame I had not found it a few weeks sooner and saved
her a lot of pain. We went out about five times that day
and each and every time Rowan was so engrossed in
the scenery she forgot her tender gums and for the first
night since I can remember she got some much needed
rest without tossing and turning and waking up crying.
The next morning my back was the one screaming
and throwing a fit and when Rowan started her little
hissy up again I almost wanted to join her.I knew I
could not carry her around all day again so I drug out
the stroller and thought she might like that.
No Dice! Again she was too far back like the car
seat and could not see enough and spent most of
the time struggling to get out and get a better view and
just ended up crying all the harder knowing she
couldn't. I started tossing things out of the closet like
a mad woman looking for her carrier. I found the accident
one I had stashed for with only a few months of Summer
before the cold weather set in I didn't yet purchase her
a new one and a Doo Dad I have had for eons would
have to do. Toss the baby in and ( a lot of added Bengay)
and was out the door and once again was rewarded with
the blissful sounds of silence. She could have cared
less that she was flopping around like a wet noodle
for this carrier was so old it was built before people
started taking things like Babies and Mommies
comfort into consideration and was pretty much a frame
with a seat you just tossed her in and could also only
be worn facing the front so all her weight was pulling
on my shoulders. Still, it was more comfortable then
just carrying her and though it didn't make my back feel
like singing like Julie Andrews, it also didn't have me
humming the death march so I would live.I decided on
the spot I was just going to have to find a carrier that
would have me whistling a happy tune for I know a
lot of advancements have been made since the days
I toted Andrew around in this Brontosaurus model.
That evening I sat down at the computer after she
dozed off and brought up my old friend Google and
typed in Baby Carrier.
49 pages.
Let me repeat that.
49 pages of baby carriers. When Andrew was a baby I
think my choices were red and black.
49 pages. How do I know what one is best for me and
how am I ever going to whittle down that monstrous
selection to a more manageable list. I went to a few forums
I belong too and a couple of Mothers groups and also
some local resources for Mom's I belong to and started
to ask around. A lot of times I got more questions then
answers for according to them I am supposed to be the
answer lady and not a whole lot of help. There were a few
people that told me about theirs and I started to grow a
list but it was a slow and steady road. Every day I would
suffer through my Smithsonian Carrier and every night
I would research the latest ones I had heard about during
my research. One name kept coming up over and over
again though, bECO and I was pretty sure I had not heard
of them when Andrew was little for I checked out their
site and their selection was more then just red and black.
I moved them to the top of the list and made a point to
ask people about them. I also sent a letter off to them
and a couple of others that had been mentioned more
then once but did not bank on that I was only asking these
people for more information and I had already been
researching carriers a few days and I don't think my
back could take much more of Rowan and I's repeated
treks to the wildness of the Detroit suburbs but for her
comfort I kept trudging along. I wanted to rush right out
and buy one but my research had me even more confused
for I learned some carriers are for Baby when little only,
some are for Baby Big only, some you wear in front, some
the back. Okay now, take something I am already confused
about and add a zillion more details to compound the
problem and make me more confused. My head was going
to explode I just knew it. I jotted those questions down
and went to bed for my vision was already blurry from
just going over the list of available carriers on the market.
Did I tell you there were 49 pages of carriers?
The next morning I got up and as Rowan smeared Oat
meal on her face I grabbed a cup of Coffee and checked
my emails. There was already an email from bECO.
WOW!
That was fast.
They had answers to a lot of my questions and I was
relieved a sales pitch didn't come with it. The person
answered them in an unbiased way and gave me "just
the facts, Mam" and I can now at least say I am fully
informed on the different variety's and styles and I
am no longer confused on that count. I also have to say
they were fabulous in the customer service department
for we shot about 10 emails back and forth and yeah, I
know I ramble, isn't that why I Blog? and I can be a pain
with my questions and not once did they loose their
patience or refer me to a FAQ guide somewhere or
get even the slightest bit testy even though we all
know Michelle has more then one blond moment and
can be as big as handful as Rowan sometimes and
a total pain in the you know where! They never even
questioned why I needed the information and I even
did pretty good without telling them the life story of
the blog I usually ramble on about until the persons
brain turns to mush from my exaggerated details
and long winded tangents. Towards then end I felt
I have to tell them ( see, I did good, I have a blog is
usually the second thing I tell a person when I meet
them) and they were very kind about that and said they
would be happy to pass my information to someone
in a department that handles reviews and such and
I thought sure, then rolled my Internet eyes for please,
I have heard that before. After lunch I walked Rowan
and put her down for a nap and again hit the emails.
Another person from bECO had sent me one.
Eh, Déjà vu here. Wow, they were fast. I had
yet to hear anything from any of the other manufactures
and as it stands at that moment I was pretty confidant
bECO put the service in customer service. I don't care
if they were selling a product that was only good for
doubling the amount of earwax you have their customer
service was so spectacular I would have bought it for
that reason alone. This person was even nicer then the
last, if that was all passable and said he would be happy
to send me an item to review and explain their line
more fully and answer any questions I could come up
with. I was pretty close to climbing up on that hill with
Julie Andrews about now but had yet to even see the
carrier. Then he said once I got it he would also be glad
to answer any questions I might have. Now there I laughed
out loud for I almost felt bad for the guy for he really
doesn't know me and 7,000 questions could go by without
me even making a dent in my list. We set something up
and I figured I had a couple of week wait and could not
wait that long with Rowan and my back so I kept up
with my research. Besides, I told you guys I would give
you all the facts, not just one set. I sent some more
letters and took a break for it was Friday night and
Michelle needed one. I did however, spend some time
on Saturday and again on Sunday checking out a
couple of carriers my friends had and I will tell you
about them more later but let's just say they were
nothing to call Mom about and my back was still
pretty cramped up come the following morning and
Julie Andrews was talking retirement for a moment
there.
Monday Morning came and the weekend was pretty
much a blur of me walking Rowan who's second tooth
is ready to break through any day now and rubbing on
Bengay. Mail was early and I hobbled out to grab it and
the stack of boxes that was there and about 3 boxes into
it was the bECO carrier. Um, wow. Wait, that didn't get as
much enthusiasm as it deserved, UM, WOW!!!!!! A we had
Friday where I spoke to them. Saturday. Sunday and no
mail and first thing Monday morning they were there.
WOW! I opened the box and giggled for this was such an
adorable design. I mean I had seen their styles on the site
and was impressed but you never really get the feel for
something until you see it in person. Their pattern designs
are sort of those universal boy/girl designs that are
bright and whimsical and colorful and just make you
smile when you see them. Something you would associate
happy thoughts with. I can't answer for a Baby but it
was cute enough to put a smile on my face just looking
at it and if someone were tossing me in it for a walk
I would be giddy with the fashion statement it made alone.
I was also eager to read the brochure and see what size
it was and how long I could use it before I had to buy
a bigger one and also if it was a front design or back
design for though I got all those answers from bECO
about what carriers offer now a days and what the
different styles were I was so happy a real person
was helping we with my quest I forgot to ask what kind
were theirs? Digging in the box a DVD popped out. Now
there was an instruction book there too but a video?
How cool is that?
I know any of you guys with children know what a
pain in the butt it is to read instructions for something
when you have an Infant or Toddler wanting to use it
now. Worse yet, something like a car seat and its 5 point
safety UHG! belts were you are trying to get JR in it and
read a book at the same time and you are getting frustrated
and they are grabbing the book and you need it back
and then they cry and then YOU cry and every ones in
tears and you still don't know how to hook it up. Well
these guys must have kids for the DVD is a complete
set of instructions that you can watch as you are tucking
JR in and let them eat the book. You don't really need it
anyway! They were just kind enough to cover all your
bases. Now I set that aside for I wanted those details
I told you about and they already had two plus's on the good
side and I didn't want to see just how hard it would be
to get her in just yet for the old one is like an Iron
Maiden and a pain in the butt. I was pretty shocked
when I found my details. Lemme' share.

1. newborn to toddler, 7-45 lbs. Ah, that means I will not
need another one for this will last Rowan to she is too
old to carry. Rachel is 12 and 50 pounds and I really
doubt she wants us to cart her in a carrier so if Rowan
grows the same way I think we are good there!

2. front and back carry. Ah, again. Only need one. I don't
have to worry if she likes to ride on the back or front
for they have both options covered there too! I can also
find out what one is better for my back without dropping
a wad of cash with different models for this "IS" different
models all rolled into one!

3. easy On and OFF features. THANK GOD! I am so easily
frustrated and Rowan is such a wiggler that getting her in
her Jammie's is often about as much as I can handle.

4. high quality tested materials. Will they pass the Michelle
Test. Well, stage one they blew through for I have pulled,
yanked and did everything but tap dance on this. I will
get back to you about how well it holds up in the wash
for right now I just can't stop using it long enough to wash!

5. machine washable. I am laughing to the point of tears
here for don't I tell you guys I wash everything, if
it is supposed to be washed or not for the simple fact
in real life at my house it will end up there sooner or
later and I like to know right away and get it over with..
Here they just made it for people like me at the start
and I don't have to worry!
It also has a lot of neat features that make it an
even better value then it already was. As if they could!
Well I guess they could for they did! They give you an
infant insert to make sure when Baby is little they
are all snug and comfy. Safety Buckles to make sure
Miss Houdini doesn't make a break for it or I lean too
far one way and she goes plop! A fold down head support.
Hey, I wish I had such comfort! You can even remove the
head rest. This neat little inside panel that makes it
really easy to transfer baby to another person. Now that
is neat. If I had another I could switch back from John
and I without missing a beat! A storage sleeve for stuff
all us Moms and Dads need on those walks! AND the
items I saved for last. The ones that are super important
for me. Wide padded Shoulder Straps so the pull of her
weight doesn't drag down on me and irritate my back
more then it already is and a Wide Padded Waist Belt
for Lumbar Support. These are super important for
even though my back does not hurt as bad with the
carrier I am using now in comparison to just holding
her it still aches a lot in the morning. Also, you guys
would think my minor aches ARE really bad for my
back hurts 24-7 and gets worse every year and I have
just grown used to it. It would have only been a few more
weeks before I would have has to stop using the carrier
for the strain was getting a little worse each day. I normally
wake up uncomfortable and on a scale of 1-10 my pain
level is around a 4 for I sleep with a Patch that releases
medicine into my spine all night long and since Rowan
and my walks I have been waking up at a 7 or 8. The day
I just carried her I woke up at a 10 the next morning and
had to take a hot shower, Bengay, medication and a heating
pad to just make it down the stairs. It was not pleasant but
that is one of the reasons I was over excited when I saw the
Shoulder Pads and Lumbar Support. With my Rheumatoid
Arthritis being as advanced as it is I can have a pretty
rocky road if I do not pay attention to those details. I
was just crossing my fingers that it would work.
Now I got this yesterday first thing in the morning and
have taken Rowan on 6 walks. One for quiet a ways too.
Rowan and the Pooch love product tests like that for
they get the perks and I get the work! I did not lather up
with extra Bengay or sleep on the heating pad like
I have been since I started our walks for I really wanted
to know how good the support was.
I have been up for a few hours now but let me tell you
when I first woke up.............well, let me put it to
you this way!
The Hills are Alive with Music!!!!!!!!!!
And folks, Julie Andrews has not left the building
because I still feel great and if their support can
help a person like me I know it can keep people
without issues in tip top shape. Every single thing
about the bECO carrier was perfect and I just love
the thing and best of all the perks for me. Yeah, yeah,
there is that long list of goodies that come standard
with their Butterfly but let's talk about me right now.
Rowan is happy, she gets her walks that distract her
from her tooth pain and keep her crying jags at bay.
The Pooch enjoys her walks and since she has been
driving me nuts since winter started for she hates
being all cooped up she is really diggen it. Poor
Rowan, the Pooch benefits from her discomfort! And
Me? Well there are million things I would rather do then
take 4 zillion walks a day but since it makes
the baby feel better I am going to do them and
the fact I now get to do them pain and hassle
free. WHAT A PLUS! Easy to use, Easy to love,
easy on your back. bECO! You guys will be seeing
a lot more from them for if they rest of their product
line is anything close to the quality and craftmen-
ship as the bECO Butterfly Baby Carrier I will be
camping out on their doorstep to they let me review
more! Two huge, pain free thumbs up here!
