Today was the best Monday I have had in
I just don't know how long. Last night was very
trying though. Rowan, the cute little button I
want to drive to whatever that state is where
you can drop your kids off at a hospital and run
like the wind, was up all night. O.K, not all night,
but she got up around 2:30 and loudly informed
me that was all the sleep she required that night.
Me on the other hand, did not even crawl into bed
until about five minutes to three and felt like a
spring board, flop in, bounce out!
She sure is lucky she is cute.Around 6 AM
she decided she might have been mistaken and
drifted back into a peaceful sleep while I was stuck
using toothpicks to keep my eyes propped open so
I could make sure the boy got up in another half
hour. BUT-get up he did. Not a single problem.
About 8 I crawled back up the stairs and into
bed just in time to hear the
"Aheee, aheeee, heeeeee heeee, AHEEEEE!"
I thought here we go but to my surprise John
grabbed her and took her down stairs. I fell
into a coma for the next two hours and woke
to the sound of the shutting of the door.John
and baby baby left with his Uncle and I was all
alone with the pooch. I didn't have to worry about
dinner, already made it the night before. I did
mass cleaning over the weekend too so that
was off my list. I had not one appointment or
place to be. I can sleep. I can read, I can watch
TV, in the living room I might add! What
to do, what to do?
I went on the computer and spent hours
doing nothing. Ahhhhhhh, heaven!
When John got home he still held onto
the baby though I did change her and was
a little shocked to see she had a diaper rash.
It is looking pretty nasty too. It isn't Johns
fault for she had icky number doo doo and
the kind that stings and rashed her up fast.
I hope nobody was eating here! I cleaned her
up and we let her run via in the buff for a bit
but quickly decided that was not in our best
interests for she was worse then the dog when
it came to marking her spot.
Mail day was all junk but I did get a product
review from Buzzagent ( great site) for Aveeno
baby shampoo. I love the brand so I can't wait
to use the shampoo. I will let you all know how
it works! I can say with a smile no bills though!
See, it was a good day. No bills, no cleaning,
good kids, good husband. I feel like I walked
into the wrong house!
John kept the baby most of the night and
all I had to do was play with her when I felt
like it. She has learned a new trick though
and I plan on killing her father and brother
for teaching it to her. They think it is the
Bee's Knee's to pinch her cheeks and she
let's them, I thought it didn't phase her but
I was wrong for now whenever I pick her
up she reaches for my cheeks right out
of the gate. I thought my days of getting
my cheeks pinched where in the achieve
books but now my daughter is doing it
to me and OUCH she is strong!
Now here it is, 2 AM and I have the
cable repair guy scheduled to be here at
8. That was another feather in my cap.
Over the weekend my cable went out.
The Internet always does but this time
it was everything.I called to find out and
they reset the signal but while I had them
on the phone I asked them about the
Internet. He said sure I can have someone
come out and fix it for you right away. I asked
if it would cost anything and the guy cheerfully
told me, "Only if its in the house!"
Hummmmmmm, let me think. There is 5
feet of cable outside and 43480 miles of it
running through my walls. YEAH, it will cost.
I was about to say never mind when he went
on to explain the service plan. 2.99 per month
and it covers everything. I asked if I ordered it
now would this call be covered? He told me it
would then laughed again and said you can also
cancel it anytime.
Let me think about this now. 150.00 without the
plan. 2.99 with and I only have to pay for one month
before I can cancel. SIGN ME UP! See, this day
did rock!
Moral of the Day: If things are too good make sure
you have the right house.
