Because I Said So!!! Mom Knows Best!

Stress Level:Mild to tickling my last nerves

It has been almost a week since I have had
more then 3 hours of sleep. It really isn't the
baby's fault for I have always had a ruff time
falling asleep. Her only part in this is the fact she
wakes up for about 10 minutes a few times a
night. After she stirs I am stuck trying to fall
back asleep and end up either on the computer
or watching TV.
I started drinking coffee around 5:30 for it
was apparent that I was not getting anymore
sleep for a while until John gets up and I can
pass the baby off to him. It was around 8
when he rolled out of bed and by then I was
already in a fowl mood. He did take her
down stairs but by 8 then sun is up and I have
an even harder time getting to sleep. I also
can't stand it when I hear the baby fuss or
cry and it doesn't seem to bother him a bit.
I know you are supposed to let them cry it out
every once in a while but when he does it
drives me nuts and its like he can't even hear her.
I end up going down stairs and grabben her.
Again, no sleep!
Sniff Sniff Sob Snif......................
The other thing that drives me nuts is the fact
he can take a nap during the day. I will be in my
bed tossin and turning for the better part of an
hour before I give up and go down stairs and there
he will be, all sprawled out on the couch snoring
away with pillows stuffer in the swing to keep
the baby snug and comfy so she can doze too.
So I do housework, slamming everything I come
across, calling him names (not so quietly) under
my breath and sucking down yet another pot
of coffee just to make it through the day and
he snores. It wasn't like the 9 UN-interrupted
hours he got during the night was enough.
Now I know a lot of this is frustration. He
has been laid off for going on a year now and
with today's computer world its not like you
have to go out and apply for jobs you can
do it at home in your PJ's. That means he has
been home for a year now, in my face for a
year now, recruiting the TV for his evil
purposes for over a year now. Standing in
my way in the very spot I have something
I am tying to get done for over a year now. Acting
like the fact he does the dishes a few times a
week and takes out the trash is such a remarkable
feat I should cave soap images of him and open
a road side
