web site for over a year now. Let's face it, those

I said to myself, "Self, why don't you give them
away in a contest!" So I am. They are all 3 point
caps worth a total of 750 points. Right now you
can trade them in for items like a 6

Nation Concert Cash. There are also gift cards

I use lots and lots of coupons to save money -- I also go to more than 1 store now - I have 2 grocery stores near and go to each and buy the 'specials'. Thanks for the contest.

To save money in today's economy, I make sure to always make a list for the grocery store using the sale flyer. In addition, I always use coupons. I try not to buy items that are not on sale.

To save money we buy meat in whole pkgs - them my husband (ex meat cutter) will cut what we want it for and then we freeze it. I especially love the sides of ribs we buy.

My husband loves to buy DVDs, but we don't have money for that anymore. We found out our local library has a great selection of DVDs even newer releases! So that is one place to save money.
Also I am student so I keep an eye out for any ads on the buildings walls or in the student paper for paid research. I'm getting $120 the next 3 months from doing stuff like this.

One wy to save money is take advantage of government handouts. You don't have to be poverty striken to access many of them. Go to your local city hall or county building or state office building and inquire what they have for free you will be surprised. As for the student you could possibly be eligible for food stamps. People who ignore these programs out of fear of taking charity are nuts, that is our tax monies and if we don't use them the politicians will suck them up that is for sure.

I save money by clipping coupons, matching it to sales, and buying in bulk. I also use craigslist to buy things for a fraction of what they would cost new- just got a beautiful dresser and armoire for my son's room for $75 total - they cost $700 each in the store! Also bought a ton of clothes for my son for $20 and I am picking up a whole lot of pajamas for $15

I use coupons to save, and I always shop during sales. We have a few friends with kids a little older and younger than ours, and sometimes we'll trade clothes, toys, etc. between each other. Kind of like a hand me down circle. It works out great.

I shop Costco with a friend. Use coupons when I can. Shop around for best gas price for my car. And wash it myself. And I am careful to use left-overs to extend meals.

I save money every way I can! I am clipping way more coupons than in the past (partly because I now live close to stores that double!!), trip chain, use points sites and do surveys to supplement my savings. I shop the "manager's specials" for marked down grocery items. I only buy used clothing and household items.

To save money in today's economy I shop around for the best deals. Before I make a big purchase (anything other 20 dollars hehe) I look online or in save papers to see if I can get it anywhere for cheaper. I also do the clipping coupons which is sometimes time consuming but in the long run you save good money. And another way I save money is to collect all the change I find around the house and else where, and when i fill my jar, I take it to the bank and put it into my savings account. I'm up to $200+ in there just for spare change.

I got my entire Christmas Tree Ornaments this year at Kohl's about 40 of them for under $10 TOTAL!!

As so many have mentioned prior to my comment - coupons are a necessity - oh wait, time is necessary in order to become that coupon queen. Also, it helps if you are in a bigger town where Kroger or other stores offer triple coupons - if you work at it, you can really save LOTS of money.

I plan my errands around my kids' schedules. Depending on where they need to go, I run my errands in that part of town. It saves gas and it saves me time because I'm not sitting there waiting to pick them up and I'm not making separate trips for them as for me.

I was taught while in grade school to use coupons. Additionally, I always check the clearance racks or shelves at the back of grocery and department stores before making any of my purchases. People are astounded at how beautifully I live on a very tight budget.
