Soak Review and Giveaway

You guys know I have a lot of clothes. I have told you
many times that I have not only claimed just about every
inch of closet space in the house and dresser space to
match but also have a third of the basement converted into
my own personal wardrobe. I just can't help myself. I am
getting almost as bad with Rowans outfits too! She has
loads of clothes already and I had to box some up for the
good will that she never even had a chance to wear before
she outgrew them. I am also not too great at reading the
care tags before I buy and have picked up many items
that need special attention and a few that are even dry clean
only. Yes, I know, I am out of my mind! It is just so much
fun dressing a little princess and every extra dollar I have
goes to her wardrobe right now. Even with Andy I am bad
and though he is only a t-shirt and Jean kind of Boy I can
promise you he has one of the largest T-shirt collections
there is and I still sneak in the fashionable outfit here
and there. John on the other hand is hopeless and long ago
I gave up on trying to dress him for no matter what I buy he
still clings to the same ugly pair of Khakis I have tried to
throw away more times then I can count already. There is
no point buying nice things when he won't wear them.
No matter though, it doesn't slow my stride for I still have
Andrew and Rowan and can even sometimes sneak in
items for Rachel though she is a teenage girl and has a mind
of her own. Holidays are the perfect time for instilling your
taste on teenage girls for they have to wear it at least once
or they seem rude. This year I got her a really nice winter
coat. The problem with nice clothes and anything that is
fashionable is keeping it that way!

I do not know how many items have been ruined around
here for not following the wash instructions. It is even worse
with stains for though I have stain remover every where in
this house and I mean that, all the bedrooms, the bathrooms
and Kitchen as well as the laundry area for the rare chance of
hope that someone uses it while the stain is fresh and I can save
the item nobody ever uses it. I could cry with the amount of
clothes I have thrown away due to poor handling. I swear I have
tried everything, or at least thought I had but so many of my
nice pieces have slipped through the cracks. I was just about
to give up then I got the chance to review Soak!

Not really a laundry Detergent but more like a Laundry
saver. It is like have a Dry cleaner in your own laundry room and
you can wash just about everything you used to tremble in fear
with the mear thought of washing before. I raced off to do my
pretty pretty drawer of unmentionables that I rarely ever touch
for fear of ruin and started with one. I will fess up. I grabbed a
whole pile and raced to the basement and when I got there
froze and picked out one lowly piece for my test run. I had
never even used the delicate cycle on the machine before
because I thought if I could ruin a towel ( who can ruin a towel,
they are meant to be tuff) what would I do with my favorite
Nighty I never get to wear. Well, four loads later I was wondering
what Else I could wash and raced back through the house
collecting hard to wash blankets, Baby clothes ( they are never
soft enough for me) and some place mats and even a couple of
throw pillows, really what the hey here, it rocked on my undies
and other delicate's how could it hurt a pillow that survived
Andy? I pretty much emptied the house of everything I had not
only been too chicken to wash before but wasn't sure you even
could wash. I ran that machine to I ran out of samples and never
thought I would have a good time doing laundry (Disclaimer:
results may vary, not everyone is guaranteed a enjoy laundry! )
Joke People! Any who, it made everything look fresh and new
and WOW WOW I am almost not afraid to have guests over here!
If I could only break down the furniture and put that in!

With Soak you can either hand wash ( pleazzzzzzzzz,
like I want to do that! ) or use the delicate cycle on your
machine ( pick me! Pick me!) and either way you don't have
to rinse. It is meant to be left in and will leave your clothes
fresh and new looking. Well, my clothes, even I had to pass
on Andrews wardrobe. No rinse means it disturbs your
delicates less then that extra rinse cycle and your
items last longer and look brighter. I just loved it and truth
be told if I didn't have a delicate cycle and knew before hand
that they would look this good when done I would even hand
wash. Don't spread that around I have a rep here! Soak comes
in four scents as well as Scentless and all the better places
are raving about it. I for one can not wait to restock
and dig out my swim suits. I have a fear of swim suits for
two reasons, one, people run when they see me in one and
two I hate that they fall apart and you get those ugly elastic
strings hanging out of them and Soak is supposed to be
great for them and no more strings! If mine turn out bright
and clean I might even venture out to the pool this summer.
At least I know after I take off my robe I will have it all to
myself! Soak is sold at a ton of places ( ton is code for too
many to list!) and the web site has a handy dandy menu
to help you locate the place closest to you!

If you don't want to go to the store for fear of
people seeing you in dingy delicates you can try to win some
here! Soak is giving one of my readers a Soak Starter kit
with some Extra Minis tossed in for good measure. To enter
just head over to their site and take a good look then come
back here and post something you have learned. The contest
will start tonight and run to midnight on February 28th!
USA and 18 and older can enter daily and the winner
will be contacted by email and have 72 hours to
contact me with their mailing information. As always
you can earn a bonus entry by entering the contest of
the day and other ways to enter are posted below.
